Chapter 2420
Dustin charged into the crowd with his longsword, moving like a tiger among helpless sheep. His blade sliced through the air with precision, leaving chaos and death in his wake.
Even though his mystical pure energy was sealed, his extraordinary physical strength set him apart from ordinary warriors. His speed, strength, reflexes, and combat skills were unparalleled, effortlessly overpowering the mob. Each strike of his sword hit vital points with uncanny accuracy, making it impossible to defend.
Screams echoed through the battlefield as bodies fell one after another under Dustin’s relentless assault. Unlike a controlled duel in the ring, Dustin fought with everything he had, his ferocity overwhelming.
“This guy is a nightmare to deal with,” Tyson muttered, his face dark with frustration.
He hadn’t expected Dustin—crippled by a sealed cultivation—to still display such devastating power. Tyson’s expression hardened. A talent like Dustin, if not recruited, had to be eliminated before he became a threat.
“Everyone, attack together! Kill him at all costs!” Tyson commanded.
At his order, six black-robed men stepped forward. These were no ordinary fighters—they were genetically enhanced warriors from the Pantheon, designed for one purpose: to kill. They felt no pain, no fear, and followed orders with unwavering loyalty. They were the ultimate killing machines, sent by Bear King Bailey to confront the elite of Sacred Wyrm Summit. But now, their target was Dustin.
“Attack!”
Without hesitation, the six black-robed men unsheathed their swords and lunged at Dustin. Their speed was blinding—so fast that even the surrounding warriors couldn’t track their movements. All they could see were dark blurs followed by flashes of sharp, deadly light.
Though the sealing formation restricted the cultivation of everyone within a 100-meter radius, these six men were exempt. Their combat abilities not only remained intact but were amplified by the formation.
As soon as they joined the battle, the tide turned. Dustin, who had dominated the fight moments earlier, now faced a formidable challenge. The six black-robed men synchronized their attacks with surgical precision, forcing Dustin onto the defensive.
If his mystical energy hadn’t been sealed, Dustin could have easily handled these opponents. But relying solely on his physical strength left him at a disadvantage. Worse, he had to fend off both the six elite fighters and the constant threat of sneak attacks from the surrounding mob.
“Let’s see how long you can keep this up!” Tyson sneered, confident that victory was near.
He knew Dustin was strong, but to stand against the Pantheon was suicidal. Tyson had more than enough manpower to wear him down, and it was only a matter of time before Dustin fell.
“Dustin, this is the end for you!”
Amidst the chaos, Damien Holmes saw his opportunity. He had long harbored resentment against Dustin but had kept his hostility hidden out of fear. Now, with Dustin surrounded and vulnerable, Damien seized his chance.
When Dustin briefly exposed a weakness, Damien darted forward, his sword aimed at Dustin’s back. But just as the blade was about to strike, a hand reached out and stopped it cold.
“What the—?” Damien whipped around to see Lennox Willis, the Wine Fairy, staring at him with calm, indifferent eyes.
“Lennox! What are you doing?!” Damien snapped, his frustration boiling over.
This was his moment to finally settle the score, and now Lennox—his supposed ally—was interfering.
“I just don’t like cowards who stab others in the back,” Lennox replied nonchalantly, taking a sip from his wine pot.
“You’re insane! We’re on the same side! Are you planning to betray the Pantheon?!” Damien roared.
Lennox smirked. “Betray? That’s right. I don’t care about the Pantheon anymore.”
Damien’s rage exploded. “Then you die first!”
He twisted his sword free and slashed at Lennox’s neck. But Lennox calmly sidestepped the attack, effortlessly dodging each strike. His relaxed demeanor only enraged Damien further.
“Stop playing games!” Damien shouted, launching a flurry of wild attacks.
Lennox finished his drink, his aura suddenly shifting. His eyes blazed with intensity, and his movements became sharp and deliberate. As Damien’s sword came down, Lennox stepped forward instead of retreating. With a single palm strike, he knocked the blade aside, sending a jolt of force up Damien’s arm.
Before Damien could recover, Lennox delivered a powerful palm strike to his chest.
“Bang!”
The impact sent Damien flying more than ten meters. He hit the ground hard, blood pouring from his mouth as he struggled to breathe.
“You… how can you use mystical energy?” Damien gasped, clutching his chest in disbelief.
The sealing formation had suppressed everyone’s cultivation, except for the six black-robed warriors. Yet Lennox’s attack was undeniably infused with mystical energy.
Damien stared at him in shock, unable to comprehend how Lennox had bypassed the formation’s restrictions.
