    Chapter 2419

“Anyone who dares to come closer will die!”

Dustin’s cold voice cut through the chaos as he faced the wave of desperate attackers charging toward him. Without hesitation, he swung his long sword, its sharp blade slicing through the air like a crescent moon, illuminating the dark night.

For a moment, the attackers froze, blinded by the dazzling sword light. When their vision cleared, the lead attackers stood motionless, their bodies stiff as if paralyzed.

Then, in unison, several heads rolled to the ground, bouncing like discarded stones. A heartbeat later, their headless corpses collapsed with a sickening thud, blood pooling around them.

The gruesome scene stunned everyone. For a moment, they hesitated, their confidence shaken. The speed and precision of Dustin’s attack had left them speechless. Even the team’s elite fighters, who had just been decapitated, hadn’t been able to block a single blow.

The gap in power between Dustin and his enemies was painfully clear.

“What are you waiting for? Kill him, and wealth and glory will be yours for generations!” Tyson’s furious shout snapped them out of their shock.

    “Kill him!”

The hesitation vanished as greed and desperation took over. The mob roared and charged forward again.

“Fools,” Dustin muttered, his face darkening with disdain. With deadly efficiency, he swung his sword repeatedly, each strike unleashing brilliant sword beams that mowed down his attackers like wheat before a scythe.

But for every man he killed, more seemed to take their place. Arrows, blades, and various attacks flew at him from every direction. Yet, most of these were laughably ineffective. Only a few of the team’s captains managed attacks that posed even a slight threat, though none succeeded in injuring him.

Watching the relentless slaughter, Tyson’s confidence wavered. He hadn’t expected Dustin to be this powerful. Despite the overwhelming numbers, Dustin remained untouchable—a stark reminder of why he had once risen above countless geniuses to claim a championship title.

“You six, take him down! Show him the true power of the Pantheon!” Tyson barked, turning to the six masked figures behind him.

Dressed in black robes and exuding an icy, robotic aura, the six assassins showed no emotion, even as their comrades fell. They moved only when Tyson gave the order.

    “Go!”

The six assassins moved as one, rushing toward Dustin with synchronized precision. Instead of attacking immediately, they each pulled out a small spherical object and tossed it into the air.

As the orbs floated above, they began to chant in unison, their hands forming intricate seals. The spheres emitted blood-red beams of light, which interwove to form a massive hexagram array spanning a hundred meters above their heads.

Dustin’s sharp eyes flicked to the formation, but before he could act, the assassins slammed their palms into the ground and shouted, “Seal!”

The hexagram array descended like a shadow, sinking into the earth and passing through everyone present.

Dustin’s body tensed as an unnatural weight pressed down on him. Around him, the other fighters began to panic.

“What’s happening? I can’t use my true energy!”

“Me neither! It’s like something’s blocking it!”

“My energy’s still inside me, but it’s completely sealed! It must be that formation!”

The realization spread quickly, and fear gripped the mob. Without their true energy, they were little more than average fighters. The only ones still formidable were those who relied on raw physical strength, like body-refining warriors.

Tyson seized the moment to reassure them. “Don’t panic! This is the Pantheon’s sealing formation, designed specifically to neutralize top masters. Even a grandmaster-level fighter can’t use their true energy under this spell. Now’s your chance to overwhelm him with numbers—he’s no longer invincible!”

Encouraged by Tyson’s words, the attackers regained their courage. They believed that Dustin, without his cultivation, was no more dangerous than an ordinary man.

“Didn’t see that coming, did you?” Tyson taunted, smirking. “This formation was meant for the masters of Sacred Wyrm Summit, but it seems fitting to use it on you. How does it feel to be powerless, Mr. Rhys?”

Dustin’s eyes narrowed. “So you came prepared. I underestimated your Pantheon.”

The weight of the seal was undeniable—his mystical pure energy was locked away, untouchable. Clearly, the Pantheon had devised this trap for high-level fighters like him.

“Mr. Rhys,” Tyson continued smugly, “since we’ve crossed paths before, I’ll give you one last chance. Swear your loyalty to the Pantheon, and I’ll spare your life. What do you say?”

“Spare my life?” Dustin chuckled, his voice laced with defiance. “You think you’ve won just because you’ve sealed my cultivation? Even without it, I can kill you all with this sword alone. Care to test me?”

“Arrogant fool!” Tyson snapped, his smug expression hardening. “If you’re so eager to die, I won’t stop you! Everyone, attack!”

    “Kill him!”

Emboldened, the mob surged toward Dustin, convinced they had the upper hand.

“So eager to die,” Dustin muttered, his lips curling into a faint smile. Instead of retreating, he charged straight into the crowd.

What none of them knew was that Dustin was not only a master of mystical energy but also a rare dual cultivator. His body had been trained to the pinnacle of physical strength, and his swordsmanship was second to none.

Even without his cultivation, Dustin’s physical power and combat skill were overwhelming.
