Chapter 2390
As soon as the match began, the atmosphere became electric. Half the crowd cheered for Fenley, while the other half chanted Glenn’s name. Both of them were highly popular and considered rising stars.
This face-off had been eagerly awaited by everyone.
Although Fenley was slightly lower in the Legendary rankings, his reputation as the young master of the Celestial Alliance exceeded Glenn’s in both fame and prestige. But when it came to raw power, the answer could only be found in battle.
“Glenn, I’ve waited a long time for this day,” Fenley said, his eyes gleaming with intensity. His voice rang with conviction. “People often say I’m not your equal, and I’m not satisfied with that. Today, I want to see whether your sword is faster or mine is stronger!”
Glenn responded calmly, “When you say that, it shows you’ve already lost, because you doubt you can defeat me.”
In a true life-and-death fight, Fenley wouldn’t have survived Glenn’s taunt.
“Hmph! Enough talk! Today, I’ll show you my Heavenly God Four Symbols Art!” Fenley’s body shook, and a surge of internal energy erupted. A massive phantom of a god materialized behind him, exuding immense power.
In that moment, Fenley’s aura was fully unleashed, no longer holding back. He appeared almost divine—majestic and unstoppable.
“Bring it on,” Glenn replied without emotion, raising two fingers to the air.
With a tremor, a silver sword shot from the box behind him, streaking upward like a meteor slashing through the night.
“Go!” Glenn commanded with a flick of his fingers. Instantly, the silver sword launched toward Fenley like a bolt of lightning.
The sword cut through the air with a thunderous roar, distorting space and leaving bursts of explosive sound in its wake.
“Wind God’s Wrath!” Fenley roared, not daring to be careless. He raised his hands, and the giant phantom mirrored his actions. An enormous gust of wind erupted, unleashing a barrage of wind blades that rained down like a relentless storm.
“Bang! Bang! Bang!” The wind blades collided with the silver sword, creating a series of explosions.
However, despite the barrage, the silver sword showed no signs of losing momentum. It sliced through the wind blades with ease, continuing its relentless advance.
Fenley’s eyes widened in shock. He knew Glenn’s sword was formidable, but he had underestimated its power. His wind blades, which were manifestations of his own energy, were like moths flying into a flame.
Seeing the silver sword nearing, Fenley bellowed and thrust his palms toward the sky. The godly phantom behind him mirrored the action, slamming both hands down like swatting a mosquito.
“Boom!” A loud explosion echoed as energy rippled through the air.
For a moment, it seemed as if Fenley had stopped the sword. The godly palms pressed against the blade, struggling to halt its forward motion. But despite their efforts, the silver sword continued to press on, albeit slowly, defying expectations.
Fenley’s face grew tense. He knew that if he couldn’t stop this first strike, there would be no point in continuing.
“Get down!” he roared, commanding the godly spirit to grab the silver sword and slam it to the ground.
“Bang!” The ground of the arena shattered, leaving a three-meter-wide imprint.
Only then did the silver sword’s momentum finally fade, resting quietly within the crater, its silver glow flickering.
“Phew!” Fenley exhaled heavily. He hadn’t anticipated that Glenn’s opening strike would be this powerful.
Before he could catch his breath, Glenn struck again. “Go!” Glenn pointed forward, and a green sword shot out from the box. It charged at Fenley with even more power than before.
Although not as fast as the silver sword, the green blade carried an undeniable force, freezing the air and frosting the ground as it passed.
“Fire God’s Fury!” Fenley yelled, and the spirit behind him turned crimson, radiating a sweltering heat. Fenley’s fists ignited, and he struck the green sword with all his might.
The godly phantom mimicked his move, launching a massive flaming fist at the green blade.
“Boom!!” The earth shook violently, and the clash sent shockwaves rippling through the arena.
The impact of fire and ice released a terrifying burst of energy that tested the ring’s protective barriers. Referee Orion Foster reacted swiftly, channeling his energy into the arena’s formation to stabilize it.
At the point of contact, the green sword was knocked off course, but the recoil threw Fenley back, disrupting his internal energy.
Before he could fully recover, Glenn launched his next attack.
“Go!” Glenn raised his hand, and a red sword ascended into the sky, swirling before diving down at Fenley like a blazing comet.
The red sword swept through the air, trailing flames behind it, resembling a fearsome fire dragon. Its overwhelming power threatened to consume everything in its path.
