Chapter 2391
Glenn’s third sword was twice as powerful as the second. As the flaming dragon descended, it unleashed a world-shattering force.
Fenley, struggling with his disrupted true energy, stared at the fiery red sword hurtling down like a falling meteor. His heart pounded furiously as an intense sense of danger gripped him.
“Ah—!”
Fenley let out a roar, risking backlash as he summoned his strength once more. The phantom of the god behind him transformed instantly into its full form—a three-headed, six-armed figure, the complete manifestation of the Four Symbols of the Heavenly God. He had unleashed his full power without any reservation.
“Bang!”
Fenley directed the phantom to intercept the blazing sword with two massive hands. But the moment they made contact, the fiery sword pierced through the phantom’s palms, though its momentum slowed slightly.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Fenley commanded two more arms of the phantom to strike the sword again. But as before, the palms exploded upon impact, leaving the flaming sword to press forward, albeit at a reduced speed.
“Hold it!” Fenley roared, forcing the last two arms of the phantom to slam down on the flaming sword.
“Bang!”
A third explosion resonated, unleashing waves of energy. Finally, Fenley managed to restrain the flaming sword. It trembled violently, roaring as its intense flames began burning away the surrounding true energy.
Fenley clenched his teeth, sweat dripping down his face, as he infused the sword with true energy, refusing to let up. The power and impact of this sword were far greater than the first two combined.
It was clear that defeating Glenn wouldn’t be easy.
After several seconds of intense struggle, the fiery sword lost its radiance and dropped to the ground, embedding itself deeply, with only the hilt left visible—its sharpness still evident.
“Huff… Huff…” Fenley panted heavily, sweat rolling down his cheeks. Blocking Glenn’s three swords had drained him, but he assumed Glenn had already used his trump card to be this strong.
“It’s impressive that you could withstand all three of my swords,” Glenn remarked, still expressionless but with a hint of interest in his eyes. All his previous opponents had been defeated with just one strike; he’d never needed a second.
But this didn’t change much in his eyes.
“What, are you out of tricks?” Fenley took a deep breath, trying to stabilize his chaotic energy. “Is it my turn now?”
Glenn sneered, “You really don’t know your limits. Since you’re so ignorant, I’ll show you what a real gap looks like!”
With that, Glenn tapped the sword box with one hand. It opened to reveal six other swords of varying lengths and shapes, each gleaming brightly—a collection of divine weapons.
“Longyuan!”
“Chengying!”
“Kunwu!”
“Shenque!”
“Xuanyuan!”
“Huangquan!”
Glenn raised his sword finger, and one of the golden-patterned swords soared into the air, resembling a blue dragon ascending to the sky.
With every movement of his sword finger, another sword rose, including the first “Black Wind” Sword, the second “Qingshuang” Sword, and the third “Chixiao” Sword. Soon, nine magnificent swords were suspended in mid-air above Fenley.
They hovered like nine mountains, crushing down on Fenley’s chest, making it hard to breathe.
“What… How can this be?!” Fenley’s eyes widened in disbelief as he felt the overwhelming pressure of the divine swords.
Fenley hadn’t expected Glenn’s sword box to contain so many weapons, each pulsating with spiritual energy. He had barely survived the first three; how could he possibly withstand all nine?
Doubt crept into Fenley’s heart. He had thought that the three swords were Glenn’s peak, but now he realized Glenn had just been warming up.
“Oh my God! That’s too many swords! He’s ruthless!” someone in the audience exclaimed.
“Three swords were terrifying enough—what happens when all nine are unleashed? Who could stop them?”
“Is this the strength of the top spot on the Legendary List? It’s terrifying!”
The audience was astounded at the sight of the nine divine swords suspended in the air.
For an ordinary swordsman, having a single divine sword was an immense honor. But Glenn effortlessly controlled nine divine swords as if they were extensions of his own limbs—a feat beyond comprehension.
Divine swords were fundamentally different from ordinary blades, each possessing its own spirit. Getting one to acknowledge a master was challenging, let alone nine serving the same wielder. It was as impossible as having nine wives live harmoniously under one roof.
Even Alloy Marshall, once composed, was now visibly shaken. His eyes widened, and his face stiffened with disbelief. He had always considered Fenley to be exceptionally talented, but compared to Glenn, it was like comparing a small witch to a grand sorcerer.
It was clear now—there are levels even among geniuses.
