Chapter 2385
“Really? Since Master Hadley is so confident, I’ll just wait and see,” Alloy Marshall said with a sly grin.
Alloy couldn’t resist the opportunity to annoy Cyrus. After all, Cyrus had once been defeated by Seth Hughes, and ever since then, Seth had always overshadowed him. In a way, Seth had become the unresolved issue in Cyrus’s life, a rival he could never truly overcome.
While the audience’s attention shifted to the verbal sparring between Alloy and Cyrus, the fight in the ring took a sudden turn.
Easton Foster had been battling intensely for a long time, exhausting much of his internal energy. He had to maintain the Golden Light Curse while unleashing thunder attacks, which drained his energy rapidly.
Dustin, on the other hand, relied mostly on his speed and physical strength to launch his attacks, only using his internal energy when absolutely necessary to counter Easton’s thunder strikes.
At this rate, it was clear that Easton Foster would eventually be at a disadvantage.
“I can’t keep this up! I need to finish this quickly!” Easton thought, feeling the strain of his weakening energy. Gritting his teeth, he decided to unleash his most powerful move.
“Thunder Method!” he shouted.
With a swift gesture, Easton directed a massive bolt of lightning at Dustin, spreading out like a giant net to trap him.
Simultaneously, Easton waved his other hand, releasing a yellow talisman into the air. The talisman hovered above Dustin, glowing with an intense light.
“Move the Mountain!”
As Easton made the command, the talisman blazed with a brilliant light, and suddenly, a colossal mountain appeared out of nowhere, looming high above. Its shadow stretched across the arena, blocking out the sun.
Under the weight of this immense mountain, Dustin looked as tiny as an ant.
Easton executed his strategy flawlessly. He first used the Thunder Method to catch Dustin off guard, creating the perfect opening to unleash the Move the Mountain talisman. This powerful combination left Dustin with no room to react.
“Boom!”
As Dustin struggled to dispel the lightning with his energy, the shadow of the mountain crashed down on him with incredible force. The ground beneath his feet split open, forming deep cracks.
Anyone less skilled would have been crushed under this massive force, either gravely injured or worse.
“Is this really the power of a magic talisman? Unbelievable!” Dustin thought, feeling the intense pressure.
Among the three signature skills of the Sacred Wyrm Summit, magic talismans were the most difficult to master but also the most powerful. The Move the Mountain talisman was just one of many formidable techniques that had solidified Sacred Wyrm Summit’s dominance in the martial arts world.
“It’s over!” Easton Foster declared, a satisfied smile spreading across his face as he saw Dustin immobilized.
“This guy was tough to handle, but without the magic talisman, I wouldn’t have been able to hold him down,” Easton thought.
“What an impressive Move the Mountain talisman! It really lives up to its name!”
“Even in defeat, Dustin earned respect for pushing Easton Foster to use one of Sacred Wyrm Summit’s legendary techniques.”
“Yes, this fight has been thrilling! Without the talisman, it’s hard to say if Easton Foster would have won.”
As the audience buzzed with excitement, Easton’s supporters were especially thrilled, cheering loudly. They had placed their bets on Easton and were ready to celebrate their winnings.
“Master Foster, your disciple is sharp. He knows when to act decisively. If Dustin had used his sword, the outcome might have been different,” Alloy Marshall remarked, taking a sip of tea.
“When Dustin fought Father Adam before, I saw the power of that sword firsthand. It was beyond what any ordinary martial arts master could handle,” he continued.
“Don’t be so quick to celebrate. The fight isn’t over yet,” Cyrus Hadley also said, his tone cold. “Seth Hughes’s disciple won’t go down that easily.”
“What? With Dustin trapped by the Move the Mountain talisman, how can he possibly turn things around?” Alloy Marshall said, laughing. “Unless he’s reached the Grandmaster level, there’s no way!”
Reaching the Grandmaster level required not only immense talent but also vast resources. Even Alloy’s own disciples had only achieved it with the help of rare pills.
“Seth Hughes was a solitary man, with limited resources,” Alloy continued. “Now that he’s gone, how could he have ever trained a Grandmaster-level disciple?”
“Just keep watching,” Cyrus Hadley replied, his eyes fixed on the ring.
Although Dustin’s movements were restricted by the talisman, Cyrus still believed there was more to come.
“It’s time to end this!” Easton Foster declared, pulling out a blue talisman and throwing it toward Dustin.
“Fixing the Soul!”
The blue talisman transformed into a beam of light, speeding directly toward Dustin’s forehead. This Soul Fixing talisman could trap a person’s soul, putting them in a deep coma that would last indefinitely unless the talisman was broken.
But just as the talisman was about to make contact, a black sword descended from the sky, piercing through the talisman with incredible speed.
“Bang!”
The Soul Fixing talisman shattered into countless glowing fragments, scattering into the air. The crowd gasped in stunned silence, unsure of what would happen next.
