    Chapter 2380

The phoenix’s image was bright red, shining like the sun, with its wings looking almost real, glowing with a strange light.

    “Ang!”

As the massive golden sword came down, the phoenix let out a cry, flapped its wings, shot into the sky, and flew straight at the sword.

Under everyone’s watch, the red and golden lights collided.

    “Bang!!”

A loud explosion shook the sky and the ground, causing the arena to tremble.

As soon as they clashed, a powerful wave of energy spread out like a landslide and a tsunami, hitting the arena’s protective shield.

    Boom!

The shield glowed blue and shook violently, sending out ripples.

It looked like it might break at any moment.

Seeing this, Orion Foster quickly stepped forward and poured energy into the shield to keep it stable. Without this, another clash like that could break the shield completely.

“What incredible power! Is this what a true master is capable of?”

“I always knew Glenn was strong, but I didn’t expect this from Miguel. He’s surprisingly powerful!”

“As expected, the Sword Union produces only extraordinary fighters!”

    The audience buzzed with amazement.

Glenn’s massive golden sword and Miguel’s phoenix were at a level far beyond ordinary fighters. Without the protective shield, the arena would’ve been destroyed.

When the dust settled, the scene in the arena had changed.

Glenn stood still, looking calm and unbothered, his clothes untouched.

Miguel, on the other hand, looked serious, with sweat on his forehead and his sword hand trembling slightly.

A shallow pit about three meters wide had formed under Miguel’s feet, with cracks spreading out several meters.

    “Huff…”

Miguel took a deep breath, trying to steady himself.

Even though his move, “Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix,” blocked Glenn’s golden sword, he was clearly at a disadvantage.

The power in that sword was much greater than he expected.

It felt like he was trying to move a mountain.

The most troubling part was that Glenn hadn’t even used his full strength yet.

Miguel realized that Glenn was far stronger than he’d imagined. It wasn’t just a matter of skill—it was a gap in strength and experience.

“Do you still want to continue?” Glenn asked coldly.

His last attack was a warning to his opponent.

If Miguel was smart, he would understand the difference in their levels.

“Giving up isn’t in my nature,” Miguel said, looking at his silver sword, then back at Glenn. “I know I’m not your match, but I won’t stop until I force you to draw your sword.”

Miguel knew Glenn hadn’t taken him seriously, as he hadn’t even drawn his sword yet. He just wanted to see Glenn’s true skills, even if it meant losing.

He wasn’t afraid of defeat; he just wanted to know how big the gap was between them.

“If I draw my sword, you might die,” Glenn said with no emotion.

“Living means nothing if you’re afraid to die. I’ve devoted my life to the way of the sword. Even if I die, I won’t regret it. Draw your sword,” Miguel said, pointing his silver sword at Glenn, a hint of challenge in his eyes.

“Very well, I’ll grant your wish,” Glenn replied.

With no unnecessary words, Glenn lightly tapped his sword box.

A golden sword shot out from the box like a dragon flying into the sky.

Glenn raised his hand and then brought it down sharply.

    “Whoosh!”

The golden sword spun in the air and then plunged down like a meteor, aiming straight at Miguel.

The sword moved so fast, its golden light so bright, that it felt like the sun itself, forcing everyone to shield their eyes.

    Boom!

Before the sword even struck, the sound of wind and thunder filled the air, and the arena trembled.

Miguel felt like a mountain was pressing down on him. The pressure was so intense that he struggled to breathe, his limbs shaking uncontrollably.

At that moment, Miguel fully understood the terrifying power of Glenn Hadley.

It was an overwhelming force, impossible to resist.

It felt like the whole world was about to be destroyed by that sword.

    The power was beyond belief.

    It was terrifying!
