She raised both hands against his broad, muscular chest and pushed him away. “What the hell do you think you’re doing? You spend your mornings with Chelsea and your nights wit Geneva-am I supposed to be next on your list?”

Shaun smirked. “What if I gave you all my time in bed instead?”

Halsey’s face burned red. She swung her hand to slap his handsome face, but Shaun caught

her delicate wrist before she could strike.

He taunted, “One slap equals one round in bed. Think you can handle that?”

Terrified, she tried to yank her hand back. “Stop this!

Instead, he pulled her into his arms, cupped her face, and kissed her again. His clean, masculine scent overwhelmed her as his tongue invaded her mouth, dominating hers with

ruthless insistence.

She struggled weakly. “No…don’t!” But her protest came out breathy and unconvincing- more like a plea than a refusal.

Shaun’s lips curled. “Your body’s always been more honest than your mouth.”

With a rough shove, he pushed her onto the bed and moved to pin her down.

Halsey twisted away in panic. “No! Maddy will be back soon. This is her room! You’re her brother, for god’s sake-have some decency!”

Shaun hesitated. It was Madeline’s bed, after all. Doing this in his sister’s room was crossing a line.

Seizing his distraction, Halsey scrambled up and bolted for the door, only for Shaun to catch
