The Breaking Point of Love or The Zillionaire’s Abandoned Wife Chapter 686
Because of those messages, Celeste knew Wynn had been discharged on Thursday.
On Friday night, Trevor, Wynn, Jordyn, along with Beck and Miles, went out for dinner together.
Lately, Jordyn had been visiting Wynn every day. Celeste had assumed she wouldn’t come by that weekend either.
So she was a little surprised when, early Saturday morning, Jordyn showed up at the Rodriguez residence.
“Mom, I’m here.”
Celeste gently patted her head and responded with a soft hum, as if she had no idea where Jordyn had been spending her time. “Where do you want to go today?”
Jordyn hugged her and looked up. “What about you, Mom? Where do you want to go?”
“I’ll go with whatever you decide.”
They spent the entire morning out together. Just as they chose a restaurant and were about to eat, another photo and message came through.
In the photo, Trevor sat with members of the Lockets and the Shaws, having a meal. But it didn’t look like a restaurant—it looked like someone’s home.
Another message followed.
“Trev came over just to have a meal with her—and he showed up early in the morning. Your daughter went to see you today, right? You don’t actually think she came because she missed you, do you?
“When she found out Trev was going to see Wynn, she wanted to tag along. He had to coax her for a long time before she gave up.”
“Mom, what are you looking at?” Jordyn leaned in curiously.
Celeste remained calm. “Nothing.”
On Sunday, Jordyn stayed at the Rodriguez residence as well. But more messages and photos came in throughout the day.
Celeste didn’t look closely. Still, from a brief glance, she could tell Trevor had taken Wynn out on what looked like a date.
Jordyn said she wanted to eat something Celeste cooked.
Celeste had planned to make dinner and had already prepared the ingredients.
But around four in the afternoon, Jordyn got a call.
“Mom, Dad said Nana wants us to go back to the manor for dinner.”
“I see. Okay,” Celeste replied.
Jordyn hesitated. She had thought Celeste might ask her to stay.
But before she could say anything, the car Trevor had sent arrived. She said goodbye and left with the Rodriguez family watching her go.
That evening, after dinner, Celeste had just returned from a walk with Betty when her phone rang.
It was Jordyn.
Her voice was low. “Mom… I think Dad and Nana just argued.”
Celeste paused. “Is that so?”
“Yeah,” Jordyn said, troubled. “But I couldn’t hear what they were saying.”
“Mm.”
At that moment, Trevor’s voice came through in the background. “Jo, come have some fruit.”
“Okay, coming!” Jordyn replied.
Then she said softly, “Mom, I’m going now. Bye.”
“Mm.”
After the call ended, Celeste went back inside.
Not long after, her phone buzzed again.
This time, it was a message from Trevor.
“Are you free next Monday morning?”
Celeste paused for a moment. She understood immediately.
Before she could reply, another message came through.
“Shall we go to the courthouse?”
When Wynn had her accident, Celeste had already guessed this might happen.
After all, the last time Wynn saved him, Trevor had brought up the divorce then too.
What surprised her was how long it had taken him this time.
She looked at the message for a moment—
then replied without hesitation.
“Okay.”
