The merchants stood rooted in place, staring at Oh Han’s corpse as blood crept across the white courtyard stones in thin red rivers. A moment ago they had swaggered into the Bai Mansion behind the protection of the Yin Yang Sect.

The courtyard erupted into silver light.

Sword flashes streaked through the air faster than thought itself. One disciple lost both arms before he reached the gate. Another’s legs separated cleanly from his waist mid-leap. A third managed half a scream before a line of red appeared across his throat.

Bodies hit the ground one after another.

Blood sprayed across silk banners and marble pillars.

The merchants collapsed into hysterics.

Some vomited.

Others sobbed openly.

A few clawed desperately at the Gaia bands on their necks as though they suddenly remembered exactly who controlled their lives now.

Ten breaths later, silence returned.

Li Qingxue reappeared beside Alex as calmly as if she had merely gone for a walk.

Behind her, forty corpses lay scattered across the courtyard.

She looked up at Alex. “Done.”

The merchants trembled harder.

“Yes,” Alex agreed calmly. “You were.”

He descended the stairs slowly, each footstep echoing through the dead-quiet courtyard.

When he reached Oh Han’s severed head, he stopped and looked down at the frozen expression still twisted across the dead man’s face.

Then Alex smiled faintly.

“This,” he said softly, loud enough for everyone to hear, “is why Wudang ruled the Jianghu for two thousand years.”

His gaze swept across the kneeling crowd.

“You idiots truly believed a few street dogs could replace a mountain dragon.”

Nobody dared breathe.

Alex turned toward Zhuge Liang.

“Starting today, issue an official decree.”

The strategist straightened immediately. “Yes, City Lord.”

“The Yin Yang Sect no longer exists.”

Alex pointed casually toward the piles of corpses.

“Their properties, mines, brothels, gambling dens, protection businesses, warehouses, and accounts now belong to Wudang and Qingshui City.”

His eyes narrowed slightly.

“And every merchant standing here today will personally help pay for the transition.”

A wave of despair swept through the kneeling crowd.

One merchant nearly fainted again.

Alex ignored them completely.

“You should stay in Qingshui for a while.”

She blinked once. “To oversee the Yin Yang Sect assets?”

Understanding flickered briefly in her cold eyes.

He wanted her presence to become a living warning.

The merchants understood it too.

From this day forward, every time they saw white robes in the city, they would remember a head flying through the air.

Li Qingxue gave a small nod. “Understood.”

Alex turned back toward the crowd one final time.

“Now,” he said pleasantly, “let’s continue discussing the money you owe me.”
