- An Understated Dominance Chapter 2356
An Understated Dominance Chapter 2356 – Jude Leith was shocked by the strike. His blood felt frozen, his body stiffened, and he couldn’t move. Even his internal energy was blocked.
The Frost Palm, a deadly technique from the Yam Palace, could paralyze anyone on contact. Despite Jude’s strength, he couldn’t dodge it.
“Damn! Master Leith got hit!”
“Was that just bad luck? After attacking for so long, even a blind cat catches a mouse once in a while.”
The crowd was surprised to see Jude hit. They had expected a predictable outcome, thinking Jude had toyed with Briggs the entire time. It seemed like Jude had just stumbled into the hit.
Still, this strike created a slight shift in the battle, which had been completely one-sided.
With Jude momentarily out of control, Briggs acted. He leaped into the air, quickly catching up with Jude, who was still flying from the initial strike, and slammed his palm down again.
“You–!”
Jude’s eyes widened, but before he could react, another heavy blow landed on his chest. His body crashed into the arena floor like a cannonball, creating a deep crater as dust and debris flew into the air.
“Ugh~!”
Jude coughed up blood. His hair was disheveled, his clothes in tatters, and he looked defeated.
He hadn’t expected one small mistake to give Briggs the opening for repeated attacks.
Even though Jude could teleport, his physical strength wasn’t great. Especially now, with his energy blocked by the Frost Palm, his defenses were weakened. After two strikes, he was severely injured and his energy scattered.
Before he could recover, Briggs, surrounded by a chilling aura, descended from above, preparing another strike.
“Boom!”
It sounded like thunder. A large, white palm shadow, about three meters long, formed in the air, crashing down toward Jude.
This strike was far more powerful than the previous ones, sharp and fierce.
“You’ve gone too far!” Jude yelled in fury. With no escape, he forced his energy into forming a protective shield, despite the risk of damaging his own meridians.
“Bang!!”
The white palm struck Jude’s shield, causing a powerful shockwave. The shield held for just a second before shattering.
That brief moment saved Jude’s life.
In the final second, Jude regained control of his body and teleported away.
The white palm crashed into the pit, shaking the arena with a thunderous impact.
Jude reappeared fifty meters away.
“Ugh~!”
As soon as he materialized, he spat out more blood. Forcing his energy earlier had damaged his meridians further, worsening his injuries and potentially affecting his future training. But compared to the alternative, it was a small price to pay. If he had taken another hit, he might’ve been crippled or worse.
“Damn.”
Briggs was disappointed as he saw his strike miss. He had hoped to end the fight then and there but didn’t expect Jude to sacrifice so much to survive. Clearly, those on the legendary list weren’t ordinary fighters.
“Oh my god! I didn’t think Jude Leith would get beaten like this! What a shock!”
“Who would’ve thought? It’s embarrassing to see someone on the legendary list look this bad.”
“Honestly, if Jude hadn’t been so arrogant, he could’ve ended this fight already. He was too busy playing with his opponent and almost got caught in his own trap.”
The crowd buzzed with chatter, convinced that Jude’s downfall was due to underestimating Briggs.
“You’re good, really good!”
Jude, now regaining his breath, glared at Briggs with murderous intent. “No one has ever hurt me like this since I became famous. You’ve made a grave mistake and awoken a beast.”
Briggs stayed silent, watching Jude with energy still flowing steadily.
“I’ll show you the price of angering me!” Jude roared. His body shook, and suddenly, he split into three.
One Jude became three.
Then the three Judes shook again and multiplied into nine.
All nine Judes attacked at once, closing in on Briggs from every direction.
“Die!”
