An Understated Dominance Chapter 2351 – Before the figure appeared, a sword hit the ground, still glowing with a sharp, powerful light.
“This sword looks familiar. I think I’ve seen it before.”
“If I’m not mistaken, it’s the Golden Flame sword, the weapon of the Bounty League’s leader.”
“The leader of the Bounty League? Is he competing? Isn’t he too old?”
“Actually, he passed the Golden Flame sword to his most skilled disciple, Elder Shade, who’s ranked eighth on the Legendary list!”
As the crowd buzzed, a figure in black suddenly soared into the air, and the golden sword hit the stage with a loud “bang.”
The man, about 30 years old, had a cold demeanor, a strong build, and sharp eyes. A broken black blade was strapped to his back, and he seemed like someone who preferred to keep people at a distance.
This was Elder Shade! Ranked eighth on the Legendary list, he was well-known even if few had seen him. His swordsmanship was unmatched, and he had never lost a battle since becoming famous.
“Just my luck,” Azalea sighed, looking at her number. She stood up reluctantly and headed for the ring.
Although the saint had given her many treasures, she wasn’t confident they would work against someone as powerful as Elder Shade.
But now that she had to face him, she wasn’t going to give up easily. She needed to fight with honor and not let down the saint or the Mystic Arts Order.
“A woman?” Elder Shade frowned as he saw Azalea approaching. “How boring.”
He had expected a powerful fighter from the Legendary list, not an unknown woman. Beating her wouldn’t bring him any recognition.
“Senior, I am Azalea from the Mystic Arts Order,” she said, smiling politely as she stepped onto the stage. Her beauty and graceful demeanor caught the attention of many men in the audience, who couldn’t help but feel their hearts race.
The female warriors this time were undeniably stunning, each with her own unique charm. Azalea was no exception, standing before Elder Shade like a captivating fairy.
“I don’t want to fight a woman. Just surrender,” Elder Shade said calmly, showing no interest. To him, mastering the sword was far more important than admiring beauty.
“Senior, how noble of you. But since I’m here, I can’t give up. I have to answer to my master. Please, go easy on me,” Azalea said softly, looking delicate and fragile.
“Don’t try to manipulate me,” Elder Shade replied, his expression unchanged. “If you insist on fighting, don’t expect me to hold back.”
Although he preferred not to fight women, he wouldn’t be gentle once the fight began.
“Ah, Senior, it seems you’ve misunderstood. But if it’s a fight you want, I’ll accept it,” Azalea sighed, looking down, still appearing fragile.
Elder Shade showed no reaction, but many of the men in the audience were mesmerized. If they had been in his place, they would have gladly surrendered rather than fight such a delicate beauty.
“The fifth match begins now!” Orion Foster declared.
“Senior, after you,” Azalea said, choosing not to attack first.
“Alright, no more delays!” Elder Shade responded, grabbing the golden sword from the ground with a swift motion.
As he stepped forward, the sharp blade dragged along the ring’s surface, leaving a long mark and sparks. Even without swinging it, his presence was enough to unsettle the crowd.
“Scattered petals!” Azalea shouted, raising her hands and launching a barrage of hidden weapons at Elder Shade.
“Cheap tricks!” Elder Shade sneered as the weapons flew toward him. He spun his sword, creating a golden wave that grew larger as it moved.
Within seconds, the wave was over ten meters tall, like a massive tsunami filled with immense power.
Azalea’s hidden weapons were swallowed by the wave instantly, leaving no trace. The wave continued its path, heading straight for her with terrifying force.
