An Understated Dominance Chapter 2323 [4645 – 4646] – The audience erupted in shock.
No one expected Black Kong to be so ruthless. He had already won the match, but he still stomped on Eduardo’s head. This was pure cruelty—an act of defiling a corpse.
“Black Kong has gone too far! He didn’t even leave Eduardo’s body intact!”
“If Eduardo hadn’t held back, Black Kong would’ve been dead! How can he be so arrogant?”
“He’s heartless. He’ll get what’s coming to him!”
The crowd was outraged, cursing Black Kong’s behavior. In the martial arts world, life and death are accepted as fate—everyone knows this and usually doesn’t complain. But there’s also an unwritten rule: leave a line so people can meet again in the future.
Without a deep grudge, it’s enough to win the fight. There’s no need to destroy your opponent completely.
Killing Eduardo to win was understandable, but desecrating his body afterward was a different level of cruelty.
“Black Kong is trying to scare us!” Kassidy said, gritting her teeth in anger.
“Acts sent by fate can be forgiven, but those brought on by one’s own actions can’t be,” Noemi said, her eyes narrowing. Though her voice was calm, the coldness in her gaze was unmistakable.
Eduardo, a genius in shadow killing, had a bright future. His sudden death was a huge loss to the martial arts world, but the disrespect to his body made it even more infuriating.
“If they dare to provoke Dragonmarsh, they won’t leave here alive!” Fenley said coldly. Facing foreign enemies, he felt a strong sense of duty to stand by Eduardo as a fellow countryman.
Anyone with a sense of patriotism wouldn’t tolerate such behavior.
“Hahaha… The warriors of Dragonmarsh are really weak!” Black Kong mocked, stepping on Eduardo’s body, ignoring the furious crowd.
Orion Foster, the referee, frowned but remained silent. The rules were clear: unless someone surrendered or was knocked out of the ring, he couldn’t interfere.
“Damn it! You killed our senior brother—we’ll fight you!” someone shouted from the crowd. A group of Jaidiyyah Sect disciples drew their weapons, ready to attack Black Kong.
But before they could get far, a bolt of lightning struck the ground ten feet ahead of them, leaving a charred crater. The disciples froze in fear, not daring to move forward.
“In the ring, life and death are determined by fate. If you seek revenge openly, you’ll be enemies of the Sacred Wyrm Summit!” Orion Foster warned coldly.
Reluctantly, the Jaidiyyah Sect disciples backed down, though their eyes burned with hatred toward Black Kong.
“The third match goes to contestant No. 30,” Orion Foster announced, ordering Eduardo’s body to be removed.
Though the result was clear, there was little applause—only a few claps from the foreign audience and contestants.
“Listen up, Dragonmarsh warriors! You’d better surrender next time you face me, or you’ll end up like him!” Black Kong sneered before strutting off the stage. Despite his earlier injuries, his terrifying recovery had left him nearly healed.
“Damn it! He’s so arrogant! I’ll kill him one day!”
“It was just a lucky win—what’s he bragging about?”
“Black Kong won’t be smug for long. When he meets a true Dragonmarsh master, he’ll be torn apart!”
The audience was seething with anger, but all they could do was curse as Black Kong walked away.
“The game continues. Contestants No. 4 and No. 29, please come to the stage,” Orion Foster called out as the ring was cleared, starting the fourth match.
With a packed schedule, they couldn’t afford delays, no matter who won or lost.
What happens to Black Kong will depend on the next match.
With all eyes on them, the next two contestants stepped into the ring.
