Married At First Sight Chapter 3641

Chapter 3641

The mother and daughter, who hadn’t slept all night, were walking in the yard. Despite the cold, they didn’t seem to feel it. They weren’t talking about hate or resentment, just chatting about family matters. In that moment, they were simply an ordinary mother and daughter.

After walking for a while, Clarissa said to her daughter, “Kathryn, let’s sit down. I’m old, and I can’t walk any further.”

She led the way and sat on a long stone bench, and Kathryn followed, sitting beside her.

“It’s almost dawn,” Clarissa observed, looking at the sky. “In winter, the nights are long, but in summer, it would already be bright by now.”

She pulled her coat tighter and asked, “Kathryn, are you cold?”

Kathryn replied, “Yes, it’s quite cold out here.”

Clarissa reached out to adjust Kathryn’s collar. “You’re not dressed warmly enough. You should wear a thicker coat. You’re used to being in heated places, so you don’t feel it as much. Without heat, you’ll shiver in this cold. You have such fair skin—young people always have such soft, tender skin. It’s good to be young.”

As Clarissa touched Kathryn’s neck, Kathryn felt something was wrong and tried to stand up, but it was too late. She felt a sharp pain at the back of her neck, and everything went black as she lost consciousness.

Clarissa caught Kathryn as she collapsed and then called Mr. Dunn to come and take her away.

Mr. Dunn soon arrived, and Clarissa handed Kathryn over to him. She instructed, “After you take Kathryn out, hand her over to her bodyguard. Make sure she’s taken out of Jensburg and arrange for someone to protect her. We don’t want Pedro to harm her while she’s unconscious. Once she’s safely out, notify Pedro so he can find her. But wait until near dusk to tell him—don’t let him bring her back to Jensburg.”

Clarissa continued, “Kathryn will wake up soon. When she does, make sure someone gives her two sleeping pills so she stays asleep for two days. Otherwise, she’ll try everything to come back.”

Clarissa whispered her orders to Mr. Dunn, who then reassured her, “Ma’am, I’ll arrange everything. Kathryn’s stand-in is already prepared. She’ll stay by your side after dawn and help you host Audrey tonight.”

Clarissa’s eyes were cold. “They want to dig up the truth and fight for the power of the Farrell family. If they won’t let me live peacefully, then no one will.”

Mr. Dunn replied, “Don’t worry, ma’am. I’ll make sure the young lady is sent away safely. The stand-in is nearly identical to Kathryn in body shape, voice, and face. With a little makeup, even Kathryn herself would think it’s her twin.”

Clarissa nodded, satisfied. “Go ahead. I trust you.”

Mr. Dunn then took the unconscious Kathryn away, and soon after, brought Kathryn’s stand-in into the Farrell family mansion to temporarily take her place.

With the stand-in posing as Kathryn, when Audrey and the others arrived that night, they wouldn’t suspect anything.

If Kathryn wasn’t there, Audrey and the others would be on high alert.

Clarissa’s true intention behind this plan was to save Kathryn’s life. Kathryn was too stubborn and refused to listen, believing that Clarissa was wrong and should face the consequences.

Married At First Sight Chapter 3642

Chapter 3642

Kathryn believed that everything in the Farrell family belonged to Audrey and the others and should be returned to them. She didn’t consider her mother’s perspective at all.

Fortunately, Kathryn was the matriarch’s biological daughter; otherwise, she would have been gone long ago.

After sending Kathryn away, Clarissa felt relieved. If she lived to see another day, she would send someone to bring her daughter back. Even though she couldn’t see Kathryn, at least her life was spared.

Among Clarissa’s four children, only Kathryn wasn’t married and didn’t have children. The three sons all had families, and their wives had already taken the children back to Holden’s hometown for the New Year, following his arrangements.

Holden wanted to protect his side of the family, while Clarissa wanted to protect Kathryn. However, since they were all her grandchildren, she didn’t ask her daughters-in-law to bring the children back. She let them stay with the Janzen family for the New Year, keeping them away from the conflict.

Holden did the right thing in this case. He knew how ruthless Clarissa could be and understood that if the children and grandchildren stayed, they wouldn’t survive. Despite his warnings, the three sons refused to leave.

Clarissa tightened her lips. Tonight, everything would depend on fate. If they were lucky, they might be saved. If they couldn’t escape and were burned in the fire, at least she, their mother, would be with them, and many others would be buried alongside them.

As dawn approached, a new day began.

Kathryn, who had been knocked unconscious and sent away, woke up halfway through the journey. She stayed still, pretending to be unconscious.

Pedro was waiting for her ahead. He had predicted that Clarissa wouldn’t give up so easily.

If Pedro had followed Clarissa’s plan and drugged her to take her out of Jensburg, Clarissa wouldn’t have taken this step. But Pedro understood Kathryn’s intentions and informed her about everything.

Clarissa would find another way to send Kathryn away.

Kathryn appreciated Clarissa’s efforts to save her, but she didn’t want to run away. She wanted to face everything alongside her mother.

Whether Clarissa was right or wrong, alive or dead, she was still her mother. Others might resent her or hate her, but Kathryn, as her daughter, could not and would not.

Pedro didn’t keep Kathryn waiting long.

Soon, the car carrying Kathryn stopped, as did the bodyguard car.

Pedro, wearing a black mask, got out of one of the cars. He had several cars with him, each carrying four bodyguards dressed in black.

“The young lady is in their car. Take her away, but don’t harm them. Once you have her, knock them out, take their phones, and lock them up. Wait for my instructions before releasing them.”

If they resisted, they would be taught a lesson to prevent them from alerting Clarissa.

Pedro had brought many bodyguards, while only four were guarding Kathryn. Despite their skills, they were outmatched. They were knocked out before they could call Mr. Dunn. Just before losing consciousness, they saw Kathryn, who they thought was still unconscious, getting out of the car.

It turned out Kathryn had been awake all along! And these people were sent by Mr. Fraser!

It was too late to react. Darkness took them away.

Pedro approached Kathryn, standing in front of her, and said respectfully, “Miss, everything is done.”

Married At First Sight Chapter 3643

Chapter 3643

Kathryn glanced at the fallen bodyguards and said, “Just keep an eye on them. Don’t harm them.”

“I’ve already given the order,” Pedro replied respectfully.

Kathryn nodded and quickly got into Pedro’s car. He drove her away.

On their way back to Jensburg, Pedro informed Kathryn, “Madam Farrell had this plan for a while. She asked Mr. Dunn to arrange a stand-in for you in advance. That stand-in is now at the Farrell family mansion in your place.”

Kathryn rubbed the back of her neck. “I figured my mother would do something like this.”

So she had prepared as well.

When Clarissa suggested a walk, Kathryn hadn’t resisted, allowing her mother to believe her plan had succeeded. This way, Kathryn could operate in secret once she returned to Jensburg.

“My mother may be old, but she’s still strong. My neck still hurts,” Kathryn remarked.

Pedro, still driving, added, “Madam Farrell practiced martial arts. Even at her age, she’s stronger than most. You haven’t trained, so it makes sense you feel the difference.”

Kathryn sighed. “My adoptive parents were never kind to me. They didn’t want me to study, let alone learn martial arts. They raised me just to sell me off for money.”

Though they raised her, their intentions were selfish. If they hadn’t been so cruel, she wouldn’t have suffered as she did. She felt no attachment to her biological parents.

Kathryn wasn’t abandoned. If she had been, perhaps someone else would have raised her, even if not perfectly. But her adoptive parents had deliberately swapped her at birth so their daughter could live in the Farrell family and eventually lead it.

While Shiloh enjoyed a privileged life with the Farrells, receiving the best education and everything she desired, Kathryn endured a life of hardship. She lacked even basic necessities, let alone luxuries.

In contrast to Shiloh, Kathryn only harbored resentment toward her adoptive parents. They had ruined the first twenty years of her life.

“They faced their punishment too,” Kathryn noted.

Pedro encouraged, “Things will get better from here. Let’s focus on the future.”

Kathryn nodded. “I’m done thinking about them. They wouldn’t dare approach me now, especially after Shiloh’s death.”

Clarissa was not someone to cross. The fact that Kathryn’s adoptive parents were still alive was fortunate enough. While Clarissa had only punished the former butler, Shiloh’s biological family was also suffering. Occasionally, they would ask Kathryn for money, but they never received any. Shiloh’s death had shaken them, and they no longer dared to approach the Farrell family, fearing for their lives.

Kathryn sighed, “Mr. Fraser, I’m going to take a nap. I didn’t sleep last night, and I have a terrible headache and neck pain.”

Pedro, concerned, replied, “Go ahead and rest. I’ll wake you when we arrive.”

He hadn’t slept much either, just an hour or two. But he had downed two cups of coffee before heading out, so he was alert enough to drive her back to Jensburg.

Kathryn leaned against the car seat and quickly fell asleep. She had spent the previous night tossing and turning, unable to rest.

Married At First Sight Chapter 3644

Chapter 3644

Sitting in the car, Kathryn’s neck still ached, but she found it easier to sleep, perhaps because Pedro’s presence made her feel safe.

As long as Pedro was with her, she felt secure, no matter what challenges came their way.

Liberty often said that Pedro loved Kathryn deeply, and Kathryn had started to feel the same way about him. Liberty had advised her not to dismiss Pedro’s feelings, and not to focus only on having a child without considering Pedro’s role as a father, so as not to hurt him.

Regardless of what happened between Kathryn and Liberty, Liberty’s advice was meant to guide her in love.

Kathryn had come to realize that she loved Pedro. It was hard not to fall for someone as remarkable as him.

When Pedro noticed Kathryn had fallen asleep, he pulled over, removed his coat, and gently placed it over her. Even with the car’s heater on, it was cold enough that she might catch a chill while sleeping.

He watched her quietly for a moment, leaned over, kissed her softly on the cheek, then sat back up and continued driving, taking Kathryn back to his place.

Meanwhile, Liberty and others received word from Silver Fox that Kathryn had been knocked unconscious by Clarissa and taken away.

“I can’t believe Clarissa, who cares so much for her only daughter, actually planned an escape route for her,” Audrey remarked sarcastically.

Mrs. Queen added, “No matter how ruthless Clarissa is, she’s still a mother. The Farrell family has always valued daughters over sons. She adored Shiloh, even though she wasn’t her biological daughter. Kathryn is her real daughter, and with Shiloh gone, it’s no surprise she made sure Kathryn had a way out.”

Audrey nodded. “That’s true. It’s just human nature.”

If something happened to the Stone family, she would also do everything in her power to protect her children.

Audrey then turned to Liberty. “Liberty, go back to the company now and later visit the Farrell Group. Say you want to see Kathryn and observe how the Farrell family reacts. They’ve likely set up a double for her.”

Liberty replied, “They’ll probably try to show me the double or refuse to meet me. But yes, Aunt, I’m heading back to the company now.”

Liberty returned to work, as if everything were normal, waiting for the Farrell family dinner later that evening.

On her way back to the office, Liberty received a video call from Serenity. Since she had a bodyguard driving, she could take the call without distraction.

When the call connected, she saw Sonny’s little face. Despite everything happening in Jensburg, it was still early, and Sonny was having breakfast.

He was happily munching on a bun shaped like an animal, one of Titus’s favorites. Whenever Titus returned to FC Manor, the pastry chef would make these animal-shaped buns that the children loved.

“Mom,” Sonny called out sweetly when he saw Liberty, waving with his free hand.

Before Liberty could respond, he added, “Mom, the buns at Titus’s house are delicious and cute. They’re shaped like little rabbits. I’m eating one now.”

Liberty smiled. “Then have a couple more, sweetheart. Make sure you’re full. Eat on your own, don’t let your aunt feed you. When I get back, I’ll make some buns for you too.”

Liberty used to run her own breakfast shop, where she baked buns, though she hadn’t made them into animal shapes before. But now, she figured it wouldn’t be too hard to make some bunny-shaped buns for Sonny.

Married At First Sight Chapter 3645

Chapter 3645

“Okay,” Sonny replied happily. “Mom, I eat by myself now. I don’t need Auntie to feed me, and I don’t make a mess on the table anymore. I’m going to race Titus to see who can eat faster and better.”

Titus quickly joined in, waving politely at Liberty. “Good morning, Auntie Hunt. Have you eaten yet?”

Liberty smiled. “Yes, I’ve had breakfast and am on my way back to work. You and Sonny should eat more so you can grow tall and strong.”

Jane chimed in, “Sister Liberty, don’t encourage them to eat more. They’re both big eaters already! I’m worried they might overeat.”

Liberty knew Sonny loved food. He was raised by Serenity, who was a foodie herself, so it was no surprise Sonny became one too. He used to be picky, especially about vegetables, but Liberty made sure he had some with every meal. Now, he eats them without fuss.

Titus, too, had a big appetite and wasn’t picky. He ate more than Sonny because he burned so much energy practicing martial arts every day.

Whenever Titus returned to FC Manor, his appetite amazed Jane. She was always concerned he might eat too much, so she tried to control how much he ate. But Titus would still say he was hungry and go searching for more food.

Most of the snacks in the house disappeared thanks to Titus. The kitchen was stocked with various treats, and when he got hungry, he would nibble on something.

Titus didn’t like overly sweet snacks, so the Johnson family’s treats were only lightly sweetened. Jane, who loved sweets, found it hard to enjoy snacks with Titus since they didn’t have the same taste.

But the family made sure to have special snacks just for Titus, which the old lady Johnson also enjoyed occasionally. She preferred less sweet treats as well.

Liberty laughed. “It’s fine. It’s a blessing to have a good appetite. Kids run around all day, and when they’re full, they burn off the energy quickly. They won’t get fat.”

Titus had grown taller but wasn’t chubby. There was a time he gained some weight, but Jane managed his diet, and his masters kept him busy with activities, so he quickly slimmed down.

The old miracle doctor didn’t approve of children being overweight. He always insisted that everyone maintain a healthy weight, especially kids.

Titus looked at Liberty and asked, “Auntie Hunt, when will you come back? Sonny said he misses you a lot, and I miss you too.”

Liberty replied, “I’ll be back soon. When Sonny comes home, you can come stay at our house for a while. Would you like to keep Sonny company?”

Titus glanced at Jane and answered, “Auntie Hunt, I’ll have to ask my mom and Master. If they agree, I can go with Sonny to play. But with the New Year coming, I might not be able to.”

Titus understood that his family didn’t let him go out to play easily. He could only travel if he was with his adoptive parents or going somewhere with Lilian or his masters. But when the masters traveled, they didn’t take him along, saying he was too young and that they didn’t need his help with luggage.

Titus pouted slightly, thinking it was silly for the masters to expect a kid like him to help with luggage when they traveled.

Married At First Sight Chapter 3646

Chapter 3646Titus wasn’t allowed to go out often because he couldn’t help with luggage, and the family preferred not to take him along. They figured when he grew up, he could travel on his own.

Liberty thought about Titus’s background. The Johnson family was protective because of Titus’s past. The people who killed his family were still searching for him, wanting to eliminate any trace of his lineage. They suspected that the child Jane adopted might be the one they were after, but they couldn’t confirm it. The Johnson family’s strong position in Annenburg made these people hesitate to act, and they had no new information about Titus from FC Manor. They believed the Johnsons might have hidden him away but didn’t know where.

Liberty reassured Titus, saying, “When summer vacation comes next year, it’ll be longer. I’ll bring Sonny to your place so he can spend the summer with you.” She smiled as she said this.

Titus, delighted, replied, “Auntie Hunt, you have to keep your promise. Make sure Sonny comes to play with me next summer.”

The two boys might have occasional disagreements, but most of the time, they got along well and had a lot of fun together. While there were other children at FC Manor, they were still too young to play with Titus, so he eagerly looked forward to spending time with Sonny.

“Of course,” Liberty promised.

By next summer, Serenity would have given birth, so it might not be convenient to take Sonny to the Johnson family. Liberty thought she might be very busy by then, so she planned to personally take Sonny to FC Manor. She felt a bit embarrassed, as it seemed like she was asking the Johnson family to look after her son. To show her appreciation, she decided to prepare a generous gift when she sent Sonny over during the summer.

Titus then said, “Auntie Hunt, I’m going to finish my breakfast now. You can talk to Sonny. He wanted to video chat with you during breakfast today. Last night, he waited to video call you, but it was very late by the time he got the chance.”

Liberty suddenly felt guilty. She’d been so busy that she hadn’t spent much time with Sonny, trusting Serenity to look after him. Sonny was so thoughtful, waiting up late just to chat with her, but she hadn’t been able to make time for him. She felt a pang of guilt.

“Mom, I had a video call with Uncle last night. Auntie said you were very busy and told me to call you today instead so I wouldn’t have to stay up late. Mom, you need to eat well, sleep well, and take care of yourself,” Sonny said.

Liberty replied gently, “Thank you, Sonny. I will make sure to rest. You can call me anytime you miss me.”

Sonny said, “Mom, you’re busy with work, making money to support me and pay for my school. I need to be understanding and not disturb you too much. But when you’re free, call Auntie, so I know you have time.”

He worried that calling her might interrupt her work. He knew his mom worked hard to provide for him, so he didn’t want to be a bother.

Liberty smiled, “Sonny, you’re so thoughtful. I’ll try to come back as soon as I can.”

Sonny replied, “Okay, Mom. Let me know when you’re back, and Auntie and I will come home. But Auntie said we have to wait for Uncle to pick us up, and he said he’ll come get us after his business trip to celebrate the New Year.”

Sonny was excited about Zachary’s return, though he wasn’t in a hurry. He was still enjoying his time. He and Titus didn’t get to see each other often, only during winter and summer breaks.

Titus had a lot on his plate. His master gave him winter break homework, which included copying his medicine book at night. Sonny thought that compared to his own homework, Titus had it much harder.

Married At First Sight Chapter 3647

Chapter 3647Sonny asked, “Mom, Uncle isn’t coming to pick me and Aunt up soon, right? I haven’t had enough fun yet. I want to play a little longer.”

When Titus heard Sonny, he got worried too, thinking Sonny might leave for Wiltspoon early. He quickly came over and said to Liberty, “Auntie Hunt, please don’t take Sonny back so soon. Let him stay a few more days. We haven’t had enough fun yet. I promise I won’t fight with him over anything, just let him play here longer.”

Liberty smiled and said, “Okay, Sonny can stay another week. His uncle should be able to pick him up then.”

Titus thought a week wasn’t long enough, so he negotiated, “Auntie Hunt, how about ten days?”

“Ten days…” Liberty thought for a moment and said, “That’s during my New Year holiday. Alright, Sonny can stay for ten days, but you two better get along and not fight all the time.”

“Auntie Hunt, you’re so nice! I like you so much. I won’t fight with Sonny. Besides, he can’t beat me anyway. At most, we’ll just argue.”

Sometimes Titus would lose those arguments to Sonny. When Sonny lost, he would cry, and when Titus lost, he’d end up crying too.

He felt embarrassed when he cried, and his teacher would tease him, saying he was supposed to be a man but cried too easily.

But Titus knew he was still just a kid, far from being a grown-up.

When Fabian cried, their teacher would smile and praise him for crying loudly, but when Titus cried, the teacher would mock him. It wasn’t fair.

Whenever Titus was at FC Manor, the teacher always seemed to favor Fabian. Titus decided he’d have to talk to the teacher later—it wasn’t fair to be so biased. He was still a child and needed love too.

Liberty gave Sonny a few more instructions, then said she had to get back to work. She promised to talk to them later when she had time.

Serenity wanted to talk to Liberty too, but seeing she was busy, she stayed quiet.

“Auntie, Mom said we can stay here for another ten days!” Sonny happily told Serenity.

Serenity smiled warmly and said, “You can play as long as you want. But when you get back, practice the piano, do your writing, and learn your characters. When it’s time to play, play hard. When it’s time to study, study hard.”

“Got it.”

Whenever Sonny was with Titus, he knew he had to study harder when he got back home.

It wasn’t just Titus—his classmates were all doing well too. Their families were wealthy, so even though they were young, they had learned a lot. All the kids were very talented and would be their families’ future leaders.

Sonny was lucky to get into the best and most expensive kindergarten in Wiltspoon, thanks to his uncle, Zachary, who helped him get in.

Thankfully, no one bullied or looked down on him. He was handsome, charming, and well-spoken, so people liked him. Even though his parents didn’t have high status, his Aunt Seren treated him like her own son.

His Uncle Zack, the eldest son of a wealthy family worth hundreds of billions, also loved him like his own.

And his future stepdad, Duncan, was worth tens of billions. It was clear Sonny had a bright future ahead.

Even if you didn’t count his future stepdad, his uncle would train him well. When Sonny grew up and joined the working world, he’d become a talented leader and wouldn’t struggle.

When Titus heard Serenity and Sonny talking about school, he quietly ate his breakfast without saying a word.

Married At First Sight Chapter 3648

Chapter 3648

Titus glanced at Jane and Ben secretly.

Ben noticed and smiled, saying, “Worried I’ll give you homework? You’ve been relaxing since winter vacation started. Your mom said you could take it easy this break, no classes.”

“But after New Year’s, when summer vacation comes, I’ll set up some classes for you.”

Titus’s face fell, and suddenly his breakfast didn’t taste as good. Then he remembered that summer vacation was still six months away, and his mood improved. Breakfast tasted good again.

Ben then suggested to Serenity, “What kind of classes does Sonny usually take? Next summer, the two boys can either play together or take classes together. It might help them learn faster if they have a buddy.”

Serenity replied, “It might be hard for me to come by then unless Titus goes there.”

By that time, even if she was out of her recovery period, the baby would still be too young, and it wouldn’t be convenient for her to travel far. If Titus went to Wiltspoon, the responsibility would be too much for her.

But if Jane took her twins and Titus to Wiltspoon, it would be fine.

Titus’s guardians were Ben and Jane.

By the summer, Jane’s twins would be walking, and if they stayed at Wildridge Manor, the house would be full of life.

The old lady would be thrilled, especially since she loved Avah so much.

Ben smiled and agreed, “Exactly. Even if you’re out of recovery, the baby will be too young to travel. So, the boys will just have to get together occasionally.”

He didn’t mention bringing his wife and kids to Wildridge Manor as guests, worried that Old Madam York might want to keep Avah.

Serenity said, “That’s fine. There’s plenty of time. We’ll have many chances in the future.”

When Elisa married into the Johnson family, the two families would grow even closer, and future generations would likely stay connected.

Sonny and Titus had already become childhood friends, almost like brothers. Their friendship would keep the two families close, ensuring a lifelong bond.

They were only two or three years older than Enzo, and once Enzo could walk, he’d probably follow his two brothers everywhere. They’d grow up together, forming a strong bond.

Jane nodded and said, “Yes, there’s plenty of time. When your baby gets older, we can get together every winter and summer break so the kids can play.”

Serenity nodded in agreement.

She watched Jane try to feed Avah some solid food, but Avah didn’t seem interested.

“Avah doesn’t like solid food?”

“Not much. I just give her a little to help her get used to it. Enzo isn’t picky, though. He eats whatever you give him.”

“My love for food didn’t get passed down to Avah, but Enzo definitely inherited it.”

Jane looked over at Enzo, who was being fed by the nanny.

The siblings had the same meal. Avah still had most of hers, while Enzo had finished all of his.

“It’s good to be a foodie. That way, you’re not picky and eat everything.”

“Avah is like her dad. Ben acts like he isn’t picky and says he’ll eat anything, but I’ve learned otherwise after over ten years.”

Ben coughed and looked at Jane, saying, “Jane, we have guests. Can you not embarrass me?”

Serenity smiled and said, “Sounds just like my husband.”

They both say they aren’t picky and will eat anything, but those are just words to make us feel better.

Serenity thought to herself, lucky for her, she wasn’t a bad cook. If her food were terrible, would Zachary still compliment it while eating?

Married At First Sight Chapter 3649

Chapter 3649

Ben silently complained to himself: Zachary had asked him for advice and picked it up quickly.

After breakfast, Jane and Serenity took the kids to play in the living room, while Ben had to go back to work. He was reluctant to leave Avah with Jane and asked her to walk him out.

Back at work, Jane turned to Serenity and joked, “Ben’s a grown man, but he’s still so clingy.”

Serenity replied, “You’re just bragging. You two have been together for years, but your relationship is still like it was in the beginning. Ben waited over ten years to win you over—it’s natural for him to be so attached.”

Jane blushed.

Just then, the old miracle doctor walked in with Fabian in his arms, and Laurel brought her two sons to join the fun.

Laurel greeted Jane, saying, “These two little ones wouldn’t stop asking for their brother as soon as they woke up. They were so loud. Jane, since you’re not working for a few days, I’ll leave them with you. Let them run wild with Titus and Sonny—they’re destroying the house.”

Laurel sighed about having two boys. She wished she had a daughter like Jane. Unlike her rowdy boys, Jane’s children were calmer, though her twin sons had a close relationship, even though they fought over everything daily.

Laurel knew that Lilian, since the miracle doctor arrived, had passed baby duties to him and fled. She’d rather perform surgeries all day than handle her energetic twins.

Jane laughed, “Why don’t you let your husband take care of one, and you handle the other? It might be quieter if they’re apart.”

Laurel sighed, “They cry and fuss when separated. One cries for his brother, and the other cries for his younger brother. But when they’re together, they fight. It’s a never-ending cycle.”

Laurel then turned to Serenity and said, “Serenity, you’re lucky to have just one child at a time. You can wait until your first child is older, maybe in kindergarten, before having another. By then, the eldest will be more responsible and love their sibling. It’s easier that way. With twins, it’s chaos.”

“If I had a daughter like Jane, I’d be happier. Avah’s so easygoing, even though she argues with her brother sometimes, she’s quiet and doesn’t cry much. Daughters are better. I have to have a daughter. Tonight, I’m researching how to get one. Doctor, do you have any tips?”

Laurel asked the miracle doctor.

The old doctor responded, “I’m not married yet, so don’t ask me about having kids.”

He was too old to talk about such things with younger people. Even if he knew, he wouldn’t say. It’s best to let nature take its course. Besides, her twin boys weren’t that hard to handle.

Laurel said, “I’ll ask Lilian when she’s back. Jane, I’m heading to the office. I’ll leave the boys with you. Their grandparents will come to help later.”

With that, Laurel hurried off. Her boys were already playing with Sonny and Titus, not caring that their mom had left.

The old miracle doctor turned to Titus and asked, “Titus, have you finished copying the medicine book your master assigned? Even though your master isn’t home, your studies are still my responsibility. You can play, but don’t neglect your studies.”

Titus, who had been enjoying himself, was speechless.

Married At First Sight Chapter 3650

Chapter 3650

Titus looked to Jane for help.

Jane asked, “Master, you know Titus doesn’t come home often, and Sonny is a guest here. Let him have some fun for a few days. How about he copies just one page of the medical book each day? Maybe an hour in the morning and another at noon?”

The old doctor nodded. “That works.”

“Can Sonny join me in copying?” Titus asked.

Sonny was shocked. He didn’t study medicine—why should he copy medical books?

The old doctor smiled and said, “I’m not responsible for Sonny, so I can’t decide for him. But since your master isn’t here, I can oversee your studies.”

Sonny sighed in relief, but Serenity asked, “Sonny, would you like to copy the books with Titus? It would be good for your handwriting, and who knows? You might learn something useful.”

Titus looked hopefully at Sonny.

Feeling the pressure, Sonny nodded, agreeing to practice calligraphy alongside his friend.

Meanwhile, in Annenburg, Province X, snow had covered everything in white.

In the yard of the Ormond family, two young boys, Alonzo and Angelo, were busy making snowmen. Alonzo built a big one and proudly stepped back to admire his work. He turned to Angelo and asked, “Is that a turtle you’re building?”

Angelo, the second youngest, had made several snow turtles. “Yep, it’s a turtle.”

“Can you help me build more turtles, maybe a row of them leading up to the house?”

Alonzo’s eyes lit up at the idea, and the two boys started building together.

Just then, the villa gates opened, and three cars drove in.

The boys stopped and straightened up, watching as the cars approached.

“It’s sister! She’s back!” Alonzo shouted excitedly.

“Yeah, she’s finally here! I can’t wait to eat Brother Tatum’s food!” Angelo added as he ran towards the cars.

Alonzo quickly followed. “Hey, that’s my sister! Slow down, Angelo.”

“She’s my sister too,” Angelo replied, not slowing down.

Several families lived in the mansion, but they were all close-knit.

Elora was Alonzo’s older sister, and though he feared her a bit, he adored her.

As soon as Elora got out of the car, she saw her two brothers running toward her. Her face softened, and she called out, “Be careful, don’t run so fast.”

“Sister!”

“Sister!”

Both boys reached her, hugging her legs.

Alonzo, the younger one, looked up and said, “We missed you, can you pick me up?”

Elora smiled and lifted him into her arms.

Seeing Angelo waiting his turn, she put Alonzo down and gave Angelo a hug as well.

The brothers were overjoyed.

“Sister, where’s Brother Tatum? Didn’t he come back with you? Did he get fired?” Alonzo asked, worried because he hadn’t seen him.
