Halsey felt like an idiot.

In this relationship, she was the only one who had been running toward him.

Shaun caught the hint that she wanted to end the conversation. He chuckled softly and typed, [Going to sleep?]

Halsey replied simply, [Yeah.]

Shaun’s fingers tapped on the keyboard, answering, [But I’m not going to sleep yet.]

He couldn’t sleep.

Halsey wasn’t sure what he meant. If he were with Chelsea, he definitely wouldn’t be going to bed so early.
