The Heartbreak Prescription Chapter 1174
Roger’s voice was warm and cheerful over the phone. “Ivy, what are you up to right now?”
“I’m trying on a dress,” Ivy replied. “It’s for your birthday tomorrow. Since you called, I’ll say it now—happy early birthday, Grandpa. I wish you many more healthy years ahead.”
Roger laughed heartily. “I appreciate that. You and Nathan had better show up on time tomorrow.”
Ivy didn’t mention that Nathan had already left on a business trip. “Don’t worry. We’ll be there on time.”
“Good. And take care of yourself. The child you’re carrying belongs to the Lowe family. That baby is very important.”
“I know. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
After ending the call, Ivy rested a hand lightly over her still-flat stomach.
Tomorrow, she wouldn’t be walking into that battlefield alone.
Noelle and Kate had always been like tumors she could never fully remove—something she had endured for years.
But not anymore.
This time, she would face them head-on.
They would make their move. That much was certain.
And tomorrow, the outcome would be decided.

While Ivy was on the call, Madge stood nearby, scrolling through her phone. She uploaded Ivy’s photo to her social media and added a casual caption:
[My boss looks like a movie star even in a quick snapshot! If there’s a next life, I’m hoping for this face!]
Just then, the sales associate approached. “Ms. Quinn, does the dress need any adjustments?”
Ivy shook her head. “No. It’s perfect.”
“Wonderful. You can change out of it now. We’ll have it packaged and delivered to your home.”
“Alright.”
Ivy returned to the fitting room to change.

Meanwhile, Nathan wasn’t at the office.
He was already on a private jet headed overseas. The international project had become complicated, and he needed to handle it personally.
When the plane landed at a foreign airport, Nathan stepped off alongside Baxter.
The moment Baxter turned his phone back on, notifications flooded in. One caught his attention immediately.
He glanced at Nathan. “Mr. Lowe, there’s a new photo of Mrs. Lowe.”
Nathan looked over. “What photo?”
Baxter handed him the phone. “This one.”
Nathan’s gaze fell on the screen—and stilled.
Ivy stood there in the ivory gown.
She had always been striking, the kind of beauty that drew attention without trying—calm, distant, untouchable. The dress only amplified it, making her look almost unreal.
Even Nathan, who had grown up surrounded by beauty, felt a flicker of surprise. Something close to admiration crossed his eyes.
He took out his own phone.
Nothing.
No message from Ivy. No photo.
He looked back at Baxter. “How do you have this?”
“I added Madge, Mrs. Lowe’s assistant, a while ago,” Baxter explained. “She posted it.”
“I see.”
Baxter studied the image again. “Why is Mrs. Lowe dressed like that? Is she going somewhere?”
Nathan didn’t know.
Ivy hadn’t mentioned anything.
He raised a brow slightly. “Have someone check. I want her schedule for the next few days.”
“I’ll handle it.”
Baxter nodded.
But even as he spoke, the same question lingered in his mind—
Where exactly was Ivy going, dressed that beautifully?
