The Heartbreak Prescription Chapter 1129
Chapter 1729
The nightclub owner looked down at Lottie, his expression devoid of warmth. “Don’t even think about coming back here. You need to leave the Capital immediately. Mr. Lowe never wants to see you again.”
Lottie’s world collapsed. Tears streamed down her face as she cried uncontrollably. “No, please! Just give me one more chance! I don’t want to leave the Capital!”
The owner sighed, clearly losing patience. “You really crossed the line this time. You could have offended anyone—but you chose Mrs. Lowe. Do you even understand who she is? She’s not just from a wealthy family. She’s a renowned designer—beautiful, talented, and accomplished. How could Mr. Lowe ever choose you over her?”
Lottie sobbed harder, desperation clawing at her throat. “Please… just one more chance…”
The owner shook his head. “Pack your things and leave. You too, Juliet—you’re fired. Both of you are done here.”
With that, he turned and walked out, leaving a crushing silence behind.
Juliet sank to the floor beside Lottie, disbelief etched across her face. “So you were never Mr. Lowe’s woman at all. He never cared about you, did he?”
“Juliet, please—just listen to me…” Lottie begged.
“I don’t want to hear it!” Juliet snapped, fury exploding. “You ruined my life!”
Outside, Nathan, Ivy, and Madge stepped into the cool night air.
Martin stood beside the luxury car, respectful as ever. “Mr. Lowe. Mrs. Lowe.”
Nathan opened the back door for Ivy with practiced elegance. “Please.”
Ivy smiled warmly. “Thank you.”
She slid into the back seat, Nathan following beside her, while Madge took the front passenger seat.
The car glided smoothly onto the road, city lights stretching endlessly beneath the night sky.
Madge couldn’t hold back her excitement. “Mr. Lowe, that was incredible! I honestly thought you had something going on with that Lottie woman. I never expected you to be so loyal—and the way you stood up for Ms. Ivy? You’re the perfect husband!”
She gave him an enthusiastic thumbs-up.
“I’ve worked for Mr. Lowe for many years,” Martin added with a proud smile. “His private life has always been spotless. With his standards, only someone as exceptional as Mrs. Lowe could ever be by his side.”
