The Breaking Point of Love or The Zillionaire’s Abandoned Wife Chapter 673
Celeste returned to work at YodaVision as usual soon after.
Two days later, she attended a government meeting as the company’s representative.
When she arrived at the venue and was about to take her seat, she spotted Wynn.
Wynn noticed her too—but quickly looked away.
Her gaze swept across the conference hall, searching.
Trevor wasn’t there.
Just as she began to think he wouldn’t show up, he arrived moments before the meeting began.
Wynn let out a quiet breath of relief.
But the moment she saw him walk over and take the seat beside Celeste, the faint smile on her lips faded. A trace of disappointment flickered in her eyes.
After sitting down, Trevor turned slightly.
“Morning.”
Celeste replied, “…Morning.”
Then she turned her face away, offering nothing more.
The meeting began, and Trevor didn’t speak again.
During the break, Wynn walked over.
“Trevor.”
He looked up and gave a small nod.
“Do you have time after the meeting?” she asked gently. “I’d like to talk to you about something.”
“I have another engagement,” Trevor replied.
“It won’t take long. Just a few minutes.”
He paused, then nodded.
“Alright.”
Wynn smiled.
At that moment, Celeste returned from the restroom and saw them talking.
Her expression didn’t change.
She was about to head back to her seat when several corporate representatives approached her and started a conversation.
After exchanging a few polite words, she returned just as the meeting resumed.
When the meeting ended, Celeste spoke briefly with a few attendees before leaving.
As she walked out, she saw Wynn approaching Trevor again.
Trevor stepped aside from the crowd.
“What is it?”
“It’s about InnovaTech and my father’s company,” Wynn said.
During the New Year holiday, she had tried multiple times to arrange a meeting with him—but he had barely responded.
From the start of the New Year until now, this was the first time she had actually seen him.
By the eighth day, both InnovaTech and Locket Tech had officially resumed operations.
But the situation wasn’t good.
Their financial burn rate was high, and none of their core projects had made any real progress.
Wynn explained everything.
Trevor listened quietly.
After a moment, he said, “You’re both stuck at the technical level. If you need, I can recommend a few strong technical experts.”
Wynn’s smile stiffened.
She opened her mouth to respond—
But at that moment, Trevor’s secretary, Zeke, walked over.
“Mr. Fleming, it’s time.”
Trevor nodded, then looked back at Wynn.
“I have something to attend to. We’ll talk next time.”
Wynn paused, then forced a reply.
“…Alright.”
She stood there for a long moment, watching him leave.
Of course she knew what the real problem was.
Yes, they lacked technical support.
But even with the best experts, without funding, how could they continue developing their projects?
Both InnovaTech and Locket Tech were running out of money.
There was no way Trevor didn’t know that.
He knew.
And yet, he deliberately avoided mentioning it—steering the conversation toward technical solutions instead.
That alone made his stance clear.
He had no intention of helping.
After a while, Wynn finally snapped out of it and returned to InnovaTech.
The moment she stepped inside, Linda hurried over.
“Wynn, did you see Trevor?”
Wynn nodded.
Linda’s eyes lit up.
“And? Did you tell him about the company’s situation?”
