After greeting Nadine, Celeste glanced around and realized she didn’t recognize most of the guests visiting Zachary and Nadine’s home.

She was a little surprised, though, to spot Jorge among them.

He had come on behalf of his family to pay a courtesy visit. When he arrived earlier and saw Matthias but not Celeste, he had assumed she wouldn’t be coming. He hadn’t expected her to show up later on her own.

The Robinson family was busy that day, so Jorge didn’t stay long. After setting down his gift and exchanging a few polite words with Zachary and Nadine, he excused himself and left.

Celeste and Matthias, on the other hand, stayed for quite a while. They even went out with Zachary and his wife for a meal.

Over the next few days, Celeste spent two days visiting relatives with the Rodriguez family, then took another two days to relax and go out.

By the sixth day of the New Year, however, work caught up with her again. She began attending business engagements alongside Matthias.

That evening, the two of them were in the middle of discussing a potential collaboration when Miles—who had come out to dinner with Trevor and Beck—happened to pass by their private room.

He paused when he saw them inside, curiosity flickering across his face.

Just as the waiter finished serving and was about to close the door, he noticed Miles standing there and asked, “Sir, is there something you need?”

Hearing the voice, Celeste and Matthias both turned toward the door.

Matthias’s lips curved into a faint smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“Oh, Mr. Quinton. Do you need something?”

Miles waved a hand dismissively.
“Nothing. Just passing by. Carry on.”

With that, he smiled and walked away.

When he returned to his own private room, Trevor and Beck were already there.

Miles pulled out a chair and sat down.
“You’re both early. Impressive.”

Before they could respond, he tilted his chin toward the door.
“Guess who I just saw?”

Trevor and Beck remained calm, each taking a sip of tea without reacting.

Miles frowned.
“Seriously? Not even a reaction?”

Trevor set his teacup down first.
“Who?”

“Celeste and Matthias,” Miles said, pouring himself some tea.
“They’re really something—back to work during the New Year holiday.”

Beck lowered his gaze, silent.

He had already guessed the answer the moment Miles started talking—but he hadn’t expected Matthias to be there too.

Trevor responded evenly, “Is that so?”

Miles smirked slightly.
“YodaVision belongs to Matthias, not Celeste. But she’s putting in so much effort, you’d think it was a family business run by the two of them.”

Trevor only smiled, offering no comment.

Beck, however, set his teacup down.
“I’ll go say hello. Trevor, want to come?”

The implication was clear—he was going over on behalf of business relations. Since the Fleming Group was now working closely with YodaVision, Trevor could join him if he wished.

Trevor shook his head.
“No. You go ahead.”

“Alright.”

Beck stood and left the room.

When Celeste and Matthias heard the knock and saw Beck at the door, both looked slightly surprised.

“Miles mentioned you were here,” Beck said. “So I thought I’d stop by and say hello.”

His gaze lingered on Celeste for a moment, softening.

“Happy New Year.”

Celeste nodded lightly.
