The Breaking Point of Love or The Zillionaire’s Abandoned Wife Chapter 642
Ruby seemed to realize something and said thoughtfully, “She can’t have it both ways. Celeste can’t keep stringing Trevor along while holding on to Matthias forever. Sooner or later, she’ll have to choose.”
“If she deliberately keeps Trevor hanging just to sabotage your relationship with him, while also refusing to marry Matthias, she could easily lose them both if she misplays her hand.”
“So she won’t drag out the divorce with Trevor for too long. There’s no need for us to panic.”
Linda’s eyes lit up. “Exactly. Just because Trev and Matthias seem into her now doesn’t mean they’ll always feel that way.”
It was possible.
But it wasn’t certain.
What if Trevor was the one who refused to let go?
All of Linda’s assumptions rested on the belief that Celeste and Matthias were genuinely involved.
But Wynn knew the truth—there was nothing romantic between Celeste and Matthias.
So if Trevor didn’t want the divorce, and Celeste hadn’t fallen for anyone else either, then reconciliation wasn’t impossible.
Ruby and the others continued discussing it. In the end, they all agreed on one thing: there was still a chance between Wynn and Trevor.
After all, Trevor had never once brought up breaking up with her on his own.
What if one day he woke up and realized she was the better, more suitable choice?
When it came to Trevor, she couldn’t afford to give up easily.
Wynn agreed.
She would never let go of him that easily.
With that resolve, she called Trevor as soon as she got into her car.
The call went through, but he didn’t answer.
Whether he hadn’t seen it or simply chose not to respond, he never returned her call—not even by evening.
Wynn stared at her completely silent phone for a moment. Then she made another call.
This time, she dialed Jordyn.
The moment Jordyn saw her name, she picked up cheerfully. “Wynn!”
Wynn smiled. “Jo, are you on break? What have you been up to?”
“Yeah! My vacation just started. Nothing much. Dad and everyone else are busy, so no one’s hanging out with me.”
Wynn softened her voice. “Is there anywhere you’d like to go tomorrow? I can take you.”
Jordyn sounded pleasantly surprised. “Really? Wynn, don’t you have work?”
“I’m not too busy lately. Why don’t you think about where you want to go and tell me once you decide?”
“Okay!”
Before hanging up, Wynn gently reminded her, “Don’t forget to tell your dad we’re going out tomorrow, alright?”
“Got it!”
After the call, Jordyn excitedly asked the butler to help her plan their outing for the next day.
That evening, when Trevor returned home, she happily told him about her plans with Wynn.
Trevor smiled when he heard. “Alright. You two have fun tomorrow. If anything comes up, call me.”
“Okay!”
After speaking with him, Jordyn was about to text Wynn the plan when Wynn called again.
“Jo, did you tell your dad about tomorrow?” Wynn asked.
“Yes! I just did. Dad said we should go enjoy ourselves.”
Wynn’s smile faltered for just a second. “Is that so… Then he’s not coming?”
Jordyn replied innocently, “Dad said we should go, and that I should call him if anything happens. That probably means he’s not going.”
Wynn lowered her gaze, her voice softening. “I see…”
