The Breaking Point of Love or The Zillionaire’s Abandoned Wife Chapter 633
Over the past two years, Jordyn had grown increasingly distant from Celeste—so much so that she had even come to dislike her. Everyone present had witnessed it firsthand.
They had all assumed that Jordyn’s resentment would continue, eventually leading to a complete estrangement between mother and daughter.
They hadn’t expected this outcome instead.
At first, they hadn’t known that Celeste had gone to work at YodaVision. But now that YodaVision’s reputation was rising rapidly—both domestically and overseas—it was impossible not to know.
What shocked them even more was that Celeste hadn’t merely followed through on leaving Fleming Group as she had promised—she was thriving at YodaVision.
As for her relationship with Matthias…
Watching Celeste sit at the same table as Trevor now, barely sparing him a glance, her calm and distant composure made it seem as though she had truly let go of him.
When they had first heard rumors about her and Matthias, they hadn’t believed them. After all, they knew better than anyone how deeply Celeste had once loved Trevor. How could she have moved on so completely—and so quickly?
But seeing her demeanor now, especially how different she was toward Trevor compared to the past, they finally believed it.
Celeste really had let him go.
When they heard that Fleming Group and YodaVision were currently cooperating quite smoothly, their gazes instinctively drifted toward Celeste.
They couldn’t help wondering whether she was involved in that collaboration.
Yet when the topic came up, Celeste didn’t even lift her eyelids. She remained utterly unperturbed, as though it stirred no emotion in her at all. Seeing this, they quietly withdrew their gazes.
After the meal, Celeste spent most of her time accompanying Martha.
As for Queenie and Teagan, aside from a polite nod at the beginning, she didn’t speak to them at all.
Likewise, neither Queenie nor Teagan made any attempt to initiate a conversation with her.
At around nine in the evening, after Jordyn went upstairs to take a shower, Celeste prepared to leave.
From the way Jordyn had gone upstairs—bright-eyed and cheerful—it was obvious to anyone that she believed Celeste would be staying the night at the manor.
Given how attached Jordyn was to Celeste now, once she came downstairs and discovered that Celeste had left without a word, she would undoubtedly be upset.
Trevor looked at Celeste. “Jo will probably make a fuss. Why don’t you stay the night?”
At that moment, Queenie and Teagan realized that Trevor and Celeste still hadn’t told Jordyn about their impending divorce.
It seemed they intended to keep hiding it for the time being.
Seeing Trevor take the initiative to ask Celeste to stay—for Jordyn’s sake—both Queenie and Teagan were somewhat surprised.
They could clearly see his patience with Jordyn, as well as the tenderness in his eyes. He truly loved his daughter.
To be honest, that surprised them as well.
They had never expected Trevor to dote on a child so much.
After all, although he always appeared gentle and easygoing on the surface, he was emotionally detached at his core.
Before Jordyn came along, aside from Martha, he maintained a careful distance with everyone else—neither too close nor too far.
Celeste shook her head. “No. I’ll call her later.”
Seeing how resolute she was, Trevor nodded and didn’t press the matter. Instead, he stood and said, “I’ll walk you out.”
Celeste nodded. “Alright.”
Everyone else could tell that Trevor likely had something he wanted to say to her, so they tactfully stayed behind and did not follow.
