The Breaking Point of Love or The Zillionaire’s Abandoned Wife Chapter 609
Although Jacob didn’t say anything outright, Wynn could tell from his expression that Trevor must have done more for Celeste—things she didn’t know about.
She wasn’t surprised.
In fact, she had already prepared herself mentally for it.
Even so, her heart wasn’t as calm as she had imagined it would be.
Still, she didn’t let it show. Her smile remained unchanged as she said to Jacob, “I understand. Thank you for the reminder.”
Jacob studied her smile and paused.
Wynn said nothing more and turned to leave.
In the blink of an eye, it was Sunday.

Ever since Betty had fallen seriously ill some time ago, Martha—mindful of her condition—had sent over many expensive gifts.
That morning, some local specialties sent by Betty’s relatives in Xelora arrived. Seeing that Celeste was free, Betty asked her to bring some of them over to Martha.
When Celeste arrived at the Fleming Manor and stepped inside, she didn’t see Martha. Instead, she saw Trevor and Jordyn.
Trevor was reading in the living room.
The moment Jordyn saw her, her face lit up as she rushed over. “Mom!”
Celeste bent down and hugged her. “When did you come back?”
“Dad said we should spend more time with Nana, so we came back last night!” Jordyn said cheerfully.
Hearing that, Celeste glanced at Trevor and nodded.
Trevor had already set his book aside, his gaze resting on the mother and daughter. Seeing Peter and several maids carrying things inside, he asked, “You brought so many things for Grandma?”
Celeste walked over and sat down on the sofa. “Just some local specialties,” she replied calmly.
Trevor smiled. “Grandma likes those.”
As he spoke, he took the teacup from Peter, poured her a cup of tea himself, and placed it in front of her.
Celeste was just about to ask where Martha had gone when Martha came out of the test room.
When she saw Celeste, her eyes immediately filled with joy. “Cel is here!”
Celeste stood up and walked over. “Grandma.”
Martha was clearly delighted. She sat down beside Celeste, holding her hand.
After chatting for a bit, her gaze shifted from Trevor back to Celeste. Lowering her voice apologetically, she said, “I didn’t tell him you were coming today. He and Jo came back last night…”
“I know,” Celeste replied.
She had already figured it out from what Jordyn said earlier.
After talking with Martha for a while, Jordyn—unwilling to be ignored—burrowed into Celeste’s arms.
She climbed onto her lap, curled up against her, and hugged her tightly. “Mom, I wanted to see you yesterday, but Dad said you were busy, so I didn’t go.”
Celeste hummed softly and gently patted her head to show she understood.
Martha noticed that Jordyn seemed more attached to Celeste than before, and she was naturally pleased.
At noon, Celeste stayed at the Fleming Manor for lunch.
After the meal, she spent some more time with Martha and then prepared to leave.
However, Jordyn couldn’t bear to part with her and insisted on going shopping together.
Unable to refuse her, Celeste agreed.
Jordyn was overjoyed. She quickly changed her clothes and ran downstairs. Tugging Celeste toward the door, she called out to Trevor, “Dad, let’s go!”
Before Celeste could react, Trevor had already stood up.
“Alright,” he said.
