The Breaking Point of Love or The Zillionaire’s Abandoned Wife Chapter 606
Hearing that, Trevor looked as though he wanted to say something. After a brief pause, he simply replied, “Alright.”
No sooner had the words left his mouth than Jacob pushed the door open and walked in.
After giving his work report, Jacob was about to leave when Trevor added, “Please reschedule the lunch meeting.”
Jacob paused in surprise. When he noticed Wynn sitting nearby, understanding immediately dawned on him, and he smiled. “Okay.”
At those words, Wynn’s mood visibly eased. She looked at Trevor, a trace of softness appearing in her eyes.
That afternoon, Trevor and Wynn went out to lunch together.
Afterward, Trevor still had other matters to handle, so the two parted ways.
When Wynn returned to the company, Ruby couldn’t hold back and immediately asked, “How did it go?”
Patricia and Lilian also turned to look at her.
Wynn sat down. “It was fine. It didn’t feel any different from before.”
When the Shaw family learned that Trevor had set aside his own arrangements for Wynn and, just like in the past, still put her first, they were all delighted.
Linda said smugly, “I knew it. Trev’s heart still belongs to Wynn!”
Ruby was smiling too, though she couldn’t help adding, “It’s just a shame… If you’d gone to see Trevor in the evening, that would’ve been even better.”
That way, Wynn and Trevor would have spent more time together. As emotions deepened and affection grew, their relationship would warm up much faster.
Everyone understood what Ruby meant.
In fact, not only Lilian and Patricia, but even Wynn herself had thought the same on her way back. It was just that—
Ruby smiled again. “It’s fine. I can tell Trevor still cares a lot about you. There will be plenty of chances like this in the future. There’s no need to rush.”
The others agreed.
At that moment, the gloom that had hung over the Shaw family for days completely lifted. Not only Linda, but even Patricia and Lilian were noticeably more cheerful than before.
They all believed that from this point on, Wynn and Trevor’s relationship would soon warm up again.
But over the next two or three days, Trevor never once took the initiative to contact Wynn. Wynn went to the Fleming Group twice as well, only to return empty-handed both times.
Meanwhile, Celeste had been extremely busy these past few days.
The cooperation between the Fleming Group and YodaVision continued to deepen. Since their collaboration had always gone smoothly, and as a gesture of sincerity, it was agreed that representatives from the Fleming Group would personally come to YodaVision to sign the contract this time.
Celeste and Matthias arrived at the company early. After handling company matters for a while, they began waiting for the Fleming Group representatives to arrive.
What neither of them expected was that the person who came in person to sign the contract would be Trevor himself.
When they saw him, both Celeste and Matthias froze for a moment.
Kieran happened to be there as well. Upon seeing Trevor, his expression immediately settled.
From Celeste and Matthias’s perspective, Trevor’s personal appearance was simply a show of sincerity on behalf of his company. If it had been anyone else, Matthias would have been genuinely pleased.
But Trevor…
The more impeccably polite he was, the more irritated Matthias felt. Even so, Matthias had no choice but to rein himself in.
With a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes, he exchanged formal pleasantries with Trevor. “We weren’t informed that Mr. Fleming would be coming personally. Please forgive us for not welcoming you properly.”
Trevor smiled as he shook hands with both Matthias and Celeste. “Mr. Yoder, there’s no need to be so formal.”
Matthias didn’t respond.
As Trevor took his seat, his gaze briefly shifted to Kieran, who was sitting right next to Celeste—close enough to be impossible to ignore.
After Trevor arrived, Kieran noticed that Celeste’s attitude had grown noticeably colder than before. However, he simply assumed it was because of Wynn, and that Celeste disliked Trevor because of her.
