The Breaking Point of Love or The Zillionaire’s Abandoned Wife Chapter 600
When Celeste went downstairs, she saw Trevor already in the room. Ivan and Betty were up as well, chatting with him.
Hearing footsteps, all three looked over.
Ivan spoke first. “Cel, you’re up. Breakfast is ready. Have some before heading out.”
Celeste nodded. “Okay.”
Trevor stood. “I’ll step outside to reply to a work message. We’ll chat another time.”
Ivan hurriedly nodded. “Alright.”
Trevor also nodded politely to Betty, whose expression was still cold, though softer than before. Celeste realized why—they had invited him in because he had helped them so much when Betty had been ill.
Trevor would marry Wynn in the future, and no matter how much the Rodriguez family’s attitude toward him softened, the relationship would never be close.
After a simple breakfast and brief greetings, Celeste got into Trevor’s car. Together with Trevor and Jordyn, they left.
Not long into the drive, Trevor sent Celeste a message. She paused, unsure how to respond, when he explained, “It’s some of the activities on the island. Take a look and see what you’d like to do.”
Before she could reply, Jordyn leaned over excitedly. “Dad and I both want to ride a submarine! You can dive in the sea without oxygen tanks. Mom, do you want to try it too?”
Celeste smiled. “Sure, I want to try it too.”
Jordyn then rattled off other plans with the enthusiasm only a child could have—collecting seashells, playing volleyball, catching fish, and even having a barbecue.
Then she asked, “Mom, do you want to stay in the treehouse tonight or the underwater glass villa?”
Celeste didn’t answer directly. Instead, she asked, “What about you, Jordyn?”
“I want to stay in the treehouse tonight, and tomorrow night we’ll stay in the underwater glass villa!”
“Me too,” Celeste said.
The journey was long, taking over an hour. They finally reached the private speedboat that would take them to the island. Trevor had said there weren’t many people there—and it wasn’t an exaggeration. Aside from the three of them, only the staff were present.
After lunch, Jordyn changed into her beach outfit and dashed out, carrying a small bucket. Within minutes, she had gathered a pile of colorful seashells. Celeste stayed close, while Trevor followed behind.
Once the staff confirmed it was safe, they changed into diving clothes to board the private submarine. It wasn’t large, only fitting five or six people, but its glass exterior offered a 360-degree view of the underwater world.
Celeste had gone diving before, but being inside a submarine was a completely different experience. They could even use it to catch fish. Jordyn was thrilled.
Once submerged, colorful fish swam all around. Jordyn tried to catch them but wasn’t very skilled. After several attempts, she still hadn’t succeeded.
Trevor leaned over, gently holding her hand, guiding her movements with patience. “Like this,” he said softly, showing her the proper technique.
Jordyn’s eyes lit up, and Celeste couldn’t help but smile at the small, magical moment between father and daughter.
