    The Almighty Dominance Chapter 528

“I’ll give you one last chance,” the guard said coldly. “Hand Miss Silberkreuz the book, or you die right here.”

    Alex laughed. Short. Sharp.

“When you threaten someone with death,” he said calmly, “have you already decided how you’ll die?”

“We are Silberkreuz,” the lead guard sneered. “Who here would dare touch us? You think the Duke would ever side with you?”

Klaus nodded once. “I think the Duke would ask why his granddaughter started a bloodbath over a book she never owned.”

Leonora’s gaze snapped to Klaus, eyes flashing.

“You would really drag my grandfather into this?”

“Miss Leonora,” the lead guard said impatiently, “there’s no need to talk anymore. Just kill them.”

The other guards activated their laser weapons. A low hum filled the air.

    “Wait,” Leonora said sharply.

“There’s nothing to wait for,” the lead guard replied. “We need to show them who we are. Everyone—kill that man and take the book.”

Klaus and his men raised their weapons.

Pauline squeezed her eyes shut and pressed herself against Alex’s back, her body trembling.

    Then something went wrong.

The guards’ weapons didn’t aim at Alex.

    They didn’t aim at Klaus.

    They turned—toward their own heads.

Panic ripped across their faces as they struggled to understand what was happening.

The lead guard went deathly pale. An unseen force seized their bodies. Arms lifted—slow, unwilling—until the barrels of their own weapons pressed against their skulls.

Memories detonated in their minds all at once—childhood, blood, regret—everything collapsing into a single, blinding instant.

Their fingers moved on their own.

    The triggers were pulled.

    Light erupted.

Heads burst apart. Bodies collapsed to the floor.

    Silence followed.

Klaus stood frozen, his mind refusing to process what his eyes had just witnessed.

Alex stepped past him and stopped in front of Leonora. He leaned in, his voice low.

“If I hadn’t dragged your grandfather into this—and if I didn’t respect his past kindness—you would already be dead alongside your guards.”

    His tone hardened.

“Consider this your first warning. If you continue behaving this way, your life will become very cheap—even as the Duke’s granddaughter.”

“I… I…” Leonora trembled. “I tried to stop them.”

Alex straightened, his gaze cold and unwavering.

“That,” he said, “is why you weren’t hurt.”

He turned and walked away. Pauline hurried after him without looking back.

Klaus stared at the bodies on the floor. His boss’s words echoed in his mind.

Don’t ever mess with that man.

    Now he understood.

If he hadn’t listened, his body would be lying there too.

    That man wasn’t human.

    He was a monster.

“Klaus,” Leonora called tightly. “Who is that man?”

“I’m sorry, Miss Silberkreuz,” Klaus said, bowing deeply. “This is the first time he’s ever come here.”

“Then why did you protect him?”

“Because my boss warned me not to provoke him,” Klaus replied honestly. “He said the man is extremely dangerous. Even my boss ran the moment he crossed paths with him.”

Leonora’s eyes shifted. Curiosity flickered beneath the shock. In Winchester, there were very few things left that could truly intrigue the Duke’s granddaughter.

“Miss Silberkreuz… what should we do about the guards?” Klaus asked.

“What do you think?” she asked quietly.

“You may report this to the government—or to Duke Silberkreuz,” Klaus said evenly. “But I will then be required to submit the CCTV footage. It clearly shows your guards initiating violence and attempting to seize property for you. Once reviewed, it will destroy your reputation—and stain the Duke’s name.”

    Leonora’s jaw tightened.

“So you’re telling me to clean this up quietly.”

Klaus bowed again, deeper this time.

“I wouldn’t dare tell you what to do. You’ve always been known as a kind young lady. But lately, Miss Leonora… your name has begun to sour. Wherever you go, your guards provoke trouble. They tarnish your image.”

He paused carefully. “If this incident isn’t handled with extreme caution, your position as a potential heir could disappear.”

Leonora wasn’t foolish. She understood immediately.

“Clean it up,” she said coldly. “Quietly. Nothing leaves this place.”

    “Yes, Miss Leonora.”

Her voice dropped to a whisper. “That man… I need to know who he is.”

Alex and Pauline rode home in a taxi. Felicia had already fled with their car.

“Pauline,” Alex said calmly, “don’t tell Sofina. Don’t tell Felicia. Don’t tell your father. Don’t tell anyone about what happened. Do you understand?”

Pauline was still shaking. The image of the guards turning their weapons on themselves replayed in her mind.

And Alex—he had treated Leonora as if she didn’t matter at all.

She swallowed. “Alex… who are you, really?”

She remembered it clearly—the underground king of Winchester, Count Oskar himself, lowering his head during a phone call with this man.

    Alex smiled faintly.

“If you know who I am,” he said lightly, “you’ll have to die.”

    Pauline’s eyes widened.

    “And if I tell someone?”

Alex spread his hands, his smile gentle—and terrifying.

    “Poof. You vanish. Understand?”

She nodded rapidly. “I understand. No one will know anything.”

    “Good.”

When they reached the house, Alex’s communicator vibrated.

“Sir, this is VÖXEN service,” a professional voice said. “We are delivering your vehicle. Please confirm your location.”

“Give me five minutes,” Alex replied. “I’ll send it shortly.”

He didn’t want Felicia—or Pauline—to know he’d bought another car. He stepped back into the taxi and headed to the nearest parking lot.

Once there, he sent his coordinates.

    The air hummed.

A vehicle descended from the sky and settled beside him with effortless grace. Seamless black alloy. Sharp yet elegant. Faint crimson lines pulsed along its frame like veins.

    No engine. No vibration.

    Just silence—and authority.

People nearby froze. Conversations died. Bracelets rose into the air as heads turned in unison.

    The supercar hovered, then settled.

    Its door lifted soundlessly.

“Mister Alex Saint-Claire,” the car said in a refined voice. “This is your vehicle. Please enter.”

“Well then,” Alex muttered, stepping inside.

    He froze.

The interior surpassed even the VÖXEN Seraphine—cleaner, smarter, deadlier.

“Sir,” the AI said, “shall we synchronize?”

Alex glanced outside. More people were gathering. Cameras flashing.

    “We’re drawing too much attention.”

    “Understood. Activating stealth mode.”

    The car vanished.

    No flash. No distortion.

One second it existed. The next—it didn’t.

The vehicle lifted silently and glided away, passing through space without sound or resistance.

    Too smooth.

“What’s this car called?” Alex asked.

“This vehicle is designated VÖXEN Lucifer,” the AI replied. “The name means Light Bringer.”

    Alex raised an eyebrow.

“The late King chose the name. He wished to bring light to this country.”

“Is that a good name,” Alex asked, “or a bad one?”

“A knife can save a life or take one,” the AI replied evenly. “Meaning depends on the hand that holds it. In this case—yours.”

Alex laughed once. “You’re a smart AI.”

“Yes, sir. I am connected directly to the Prussian Artificial Core Intelligence. Access was granted by the King himself and permanently authorized by his final directive.”

    Alex’s smile faded.

    Then his bracelet rang.

    “Yes, Sofina?”

Her voice came through strained and shaking.

“Alex… I need your help. Something happened to Renata. Her boyfriend tried to kill her. He failed—but barely.”

    Alex’s expression hardened.

“She’s in the emergency room,” Sofina said. “She’s… half alive. She won’t tell her family. She’s alone. Can you go see her? I’m stuck in a meeting with Eden Group.”

    Alex didn’t hesitate.

    “I’m on my way.”
