I was stunned by how many pack members showed up tonight. The bar was packed with people who came out to support me—and it wasn’t just women. The men showed up too. Both the Redmoon and Silver Crescent Packs were there.

Old friends. New friends. Even people I didn’t think knew my name.

It was a bachelorette party I’ll never forget—no matter how drunk I got.

Olivia wasn’t the only one who apologized and said they wanted me as their Luna. All night, people bowed to me, one after another.

By the end of it, I was completely overwhelmed. I couldn’t stop crying.

“I can’t believe she’s still crying,” Irene whispered to Erik and Nan as we made our way back to the car. Technically, it was already the middle of the night.

“Let’s take her back to her parents’ place so she can sleep it off. Gavin will kill us if she’s still a mess tomorrow,” Erik said, clearly worried.

“Yeah, she’s really drunk,” Nan added, biting her bottom lip like she was trying not to laugh. “Good thing we’re werewolves. We bounce back from hangovers pretty fast.”

“Not after the amount she drank,” Erik muttered, his nose wrinkling. “We seriously need to get her home.”

“Let me clean up her makeup,” Irene said softly. I felt the warmth of a tissue against my cheek as she wiped away tear stains and smudged mascara.

I could only imagine how I looked. I was getting married tomorrow, for crying out loud. This was not how a Luna should look. I was the Luna of the largest territory in the world, about to become Gavin Landry’s wife. My emotions were everywhere—and I was still hormonal from having a baby.

“Come on,” Nan said, wrapping an arm around me. “You’re way too gone to be standing. Sit down and breathe.”

If I’m being honest, I didn’t even realize I was still on my feet.

I’d had such an incredible night—laughing with friends, even bonding with people I never expected to. I’d even shared a few genuine laughs with Olivia. She seemed sincere when she apologized. And since I’d be her Luna soon, I accepted it.

But now the room was spinning. The tequila shots—and everything else I’d thrown back—were hitting hard. I hadn’t touched alcohol since before I got pregnant, and even then, I barely drank. I’ve always been a lightweight.

I probably shouldn’t have gone this hard the night before my wedding.

At some point, I must have passed out. I barely remember the drive to my parents’ house. The next thing I heard was my father’s voice.

“What the hell happened? She’s getting married tomorrow,” he thundered across the yard. I could practically see the disapproval on his face.

Someone was carrying me—I assumed it was Erik. He was the strongest.

“She had a little too much,” my mother explained. I hadn’t even realized she was there. “I should’ve stayed with her.”

Right. Mom had left the bar early because it was getting late and she was tired. Selene and Cora had left too. They promised they’d see me at the wedding tomorrow night, so I hadn’t worried.

“She’s getting married tomorrow,” my father repeated sharply. “She’s a mess. How could you let her drink this much?”

“She’ll be fine,” my mother assured him calmly. “She’ll recover by morning and walk down that aisle. There’s no need to panic. Nan, grab her a glass of water. Irene, help Erik get her upstairs and tuck her in. I’ll be up in a minute.”

“We need to call the Alpha,” my father said, and I could hear the tension in his voice. “I’m calling Gavin.”

“Does he really have to know?” Irene asked nervously. “He’s going to be furious that I let this happen.”

“He’ll be even angrier if he finds out we hid it,” my father replied. “According to Shelly, the place was packed. Both Silver Crescent and Redmoon were there.”

“It’s true,” my mother added. “Even our Luna, Lucy, stopped by with Alpha Sampson. They wanted to congratulate Judy on the wedding and the baby since they hadn’t seen her in a while. But she was already so drunk… I don’t think she even noticed them.”

She was right. I hadn’t noticed. And if I remembered this in the morning, I’d have to apologize.

My father let out a heavy sigh.

“It’s settled. Alpha Gavin needs to know,” he said quietly. “Otherwise, he’ll have all our heads for keeping it from him.”
