Seducing My Ex’s Father In Law Chapter 923

    Judy’s POV

“That’s me?” Irene asked, stepping closer to the glowing green images.

Her eyes were wide with wonder as she stared at her green self. She was seated on the couch, tucked beneath the green image of Chuck, who was smiling down at her. Their eyes were locked. A smoky green haze poured from his eyes into hers, and she leaned further into him.

“Yes,” Esme answered, breaking the silence that had consumed us.

I stepped closer too, my gaze fixed on the images before us. As if they sensed my presence, both figures slowly turned to look at me.

My breath hitched. My skin tingled as the magic surrounding me stirred. Then, in perfect unison, both images rose.

Irene took a step back, fear flickering across her face, but I wasn’t afraid. I knew exactly what was about to happen.

With steady steps, I walked toward them, my head held high. I knew exactly what I needed to do. This was magic standing before me—and I was its host.

The Moon Goddess’s words surfaced in my mind. She had told me to put my faith in myself and my magic. My magic echoed the same command.

That was exactly what I planned to do.

When I was only inches away, I reached out my hand. Both figures mirrored my movement, extending theirs. Our hands clasped.

The light flared so brightly that I had to squint. Green from the curse and my soft white glow radiated together, twisting and blending into something entirely new.

    Then, suddenly, the green faded.

A gentle white glow wrapped around both figures. I could just make out the outlines of smiles on their faces before they released my hand. I stepped back, giving them space.

These two magical entities—the essence of the curse—had been trapped here the entire time.

And now, I was setting them free.

They stepped around me. Silence filled the room as everyone watched in awe. Even Irene stood stunned, watching herself move toward Chuck, who was growing restless and aggravated, yet unable to move.

“What’s happening to me?” Irene asked.

When I turned toward her, I nearly had to look away. She was glowing so brightly it was hard to look at her directly.

She stared down at her arms, eyes wide.

The image of Chuck stopped in front of the real Chuck. Their eyes locked for a brief, charged moment—then the glowing figure stepped straight into him.

Chuck flared an even brighter green.

It must have been painful to have his magic forced back into him against his will. He gritted his teeth and let out a strained grunt, his eyes blazing with fury and pain. His legs gave out, and he lowered himself to the ground, a deep growl tearing from his wolf as he tried to fight it.

But it was already too late.

    It was in motion.

Taylor stepped back, though he remained alert and protective of everyone in the room.

The image of Irene waited. Her gaze no longer lingered on Chuck, writhing on the floor. Instead, her eyes fixed on Irene across the room, who was staring down at her body in panic.

She didn’t look like she was in pain—just terrified. I could almost hear her heart racing, feel her quick, shallow breaths.

Irene looked up, as if she sensed she was being watched, and locked eyes with herself.

The glowing image lifted her hand in a small wave.

Then, to all of our confusion, she blew Irene a kiss.

    We exchanged stunned glances.

A faint smile curved the image’s lips.

Irene stared in awe, then slowly exhaled, her body visibly relaxing. A small smile formed on her lips, tears filling her eyes.

    The glowing image smiled back.

Then she turned toward Chuck and stepped into him—just like the other had.

    His body flared even brighter.

This time, the light was overwhelming.

    I had to look away.
