Seducing My Ex’s Father In Law Chapter 911
I wanted to argue—but Judy let out a small groan as more blood pooled between her legs, soaking into the once-clean sheets.
My chest tightened violently, and my wolf surged forward at the sight. It took everything I had to rein him back in, and in that moment, I knew Eliza was right. If I stayed, I would interfere.
Without another word, I leaned down and pressed my lips to Judy’s temple, whispering that I loved her and that I’d see her soon.
Then I turned to Eliza.
“Save her,” I said through clenched teeth.
Eliza didn’t hesitate. She met my gaze and nodded, determination etched into her expression.
I stepped out of the room, though every instinct screamed for me to stay. The moment the door shut behind me, my Beta was there.
“How is she?” Taylor asked immediately.
“I don’t know yet,” I admitted. “Eliza’s examining her. She said I’d be a liability if I stayed—that she needed space to work.”
I dragged a hand through my hair and leaned back against the wall, frustration and fear twisting in my chest. My wolf paced restlessly beneath my skin, ready to tear the world apart if it meant protecting his mate.
Taylor nodded, understanding clear on his face, and rested a steady hand on my shoulder.
“Trust Eliza. She knows what she’s doing,” he said quietly. “Your mate isn’t the only strong female in this pack.”
I nodded, knowing he was right.
“Yeah,” I muttered, raking my fingers through my hair again. “Your mate is pretty badass. I just hope she can save both my mate and my son.”
“She will,” Taylor said firmly, giving my shoulder another reassuring squeeze before letting go. “The Blackwells just arrived, along with Judy’s adoptive parents. They’re in the waiting room with Nan and Irene.”
I took a deep breath and forced myself to move.
The moment I entered the waiting room, Irene was in front of me.
“How is she?” she asked urgently. Matt stood beside her, his face tight with worry. I placed a hand on his shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze.
“Eliza’s with her now,” I said. “I couldn’t stay—but I trust her. She’s going to make sure Judy and the baby are okay.”
My legs finally gave out, and I dropped into the nearest chair.
“The girls told us what happened,” Selene said softly as she stepped forward, grief written all over her face. “We’re so sorry our daughter caused this. We had no idea what she was planning.”
“Believe us,” Zachary added, sitting beside me. “If we’d known, we would have stopped it—or at least warned you. We are business partners, after all. This will be dealt with. One way or another.”
I couldn’t respond. My heart was pounding too hard, my thoughts spiraling back to Judy—pale, trembling, bleeding. Six months pregnant. It was far too soon.
“Is that Judy’s blood?” Michelle Montague asked quietly as she approached.
I looked up and saw her eyes were red and swollen. Richard stood beside her, arms wrapped tightly around her shoulders, his own eyes just as devastated.
Both of them were staring at my clothes.
When I followed their gaze, I realized I was still covered in Judy’s blood. My shoulders sagged. I didn’t need to say anything.
Michelle broke down, and Richard held her tighter as they both began to cry.
Time blurred after that. We sat in the waiting room, each of us trapped in our own thoughts, minutes stretching into something that felt like hours. The medical team had joined Eliza about an hour earlier.
Conversation drifted around me—idle, forced, meant to distract—but I barely registered it.
I caught fragments. Zachary was going to make Lila pay. She would no longer be allowed to compete to become Luna against Judy. Tomorrow’s fight was officially canceled.
Still, everyone had seen what Judy was capable of—how far she was willing to go to protect even those who had wronged her. That alone felt like a small victory.
Then the door opened.
I was on my feet instantly, my heart lodged in my throat.
Eliza stepped out, exhaustion etched into her face, dark circles beneath her eyes. Blood stained her scrubs, and she peeled off gloves just as soaked, tightening the knot in my chest.
Taylor was at her side in an instant. She gave him a faint smile and nodded when he quietly asked if she was okay.
Then Eliza turned to me and stepped forward.
“Judy is okay,” she said.
A collective breath left the room.
“And the baby is healthy,” she continued, a tired smile appearing at last. “Congratulations… you have a baby boy.”
