Seducing My Ex’s Father In Law Chapter 900

“He won’t let us in,” Irene said again. “He’s being a complete dick.”

“Give me a second,” Gavin muttered, pulling out his phone.

Irene’s expression shifted into one of clear triumph. She motioned for me to follow her, and Nan and I exchanged a glance before trailing after her, unsure of what she was planning. We watched as she marched straight back to the bouncer.

“I’m warning you,” she said, raising her voice slightly. “You’d better let us in.”

My chest tightened. Irene had been right earlier—we shouldn’t cause a scene. I didn’t understand why she’d suddenly changed her mind.

“You again?” the bouncer scoffed, rolling his eyes. “Did you finally get an ID to back up your story?”

“I don’t need my ID,” Irene snapped. “I’ve never needed it before. I get that you’re new around here, but you really don’t want to cross my family—or me.”

I could hear the strain beneath her words. This was no longer just about some jerk blocking us from a party.

“I’m not going to repeat myself,” the bouncer said coldly. “I have direct orders from the host not to let anyone in who didn’t RSVP, and to watch for impostors.”

“We’re not impostors,” Irene shot back.

“Do you really think you’re the first people today to claim they’re important and need to be here?”

Irene opened her mouth to argue, but a ripple of hushed gasps spread through the crowd. My attention snapped to Gavin as he strode toward us, cutting through the people with an icy calm. His face was hard and unreadable—the same expression he’d worn the first time I ever met him.

The color drained from the bouncer’s face. He stumbled back a step.

“Alpha Landry?” he stammered. “What an honor, sir.”

“Daddy, that’s the guy being a dick,” Irene said smugly, folding her arms.

His eyes widened further, his face going pale as chalk. Gavin’s glare was lethal; even I had to look away.

“Is there a problem here?” Gavin asked, his voice deep and dangerous.

“N-no, Alpha,” the bouncer said, shaking. “Of course not. I didn’t know she was your daughter. I thought she was lying.”

“I told him who I was,” Irene said with a dismissive roll of her eyes.

    “What’s your name?” Gavin asked.

“Alex,” the bouncer replied quickly. “I just started.”

    “You’re new around here?”

    “Yes, Alpha.”

“Then let me make something very clear,” Gavin said quietly. “If you disrespect my daughter or my mate, you’re disrespecting me. And you really don’t want that—because I can make life very difficult for you, even in neutral territory.”

    “I—I didn’t mean any harm—”

“Alex!” a deep, commanding voice barked nearby.

A bulky man stormed over, his expression dark with anger.

“Boss?” Alex said, eyes wide, tension radiating off him.

“What’s this I’m hearing?” the man growled. “You’re upsetting the Landrys? If the Landrys want in, you let them in. That’s how things work here. You’ve offended the wrong family.”

“I thought they were lying,” Alex said desperately. “I didn’t know what the Landrys looked like. Please—accept my apology.”

“You’re fired,” his boss said flatly. “I’m taking over your post for the rest of the night. Get out of my sight before I get violent.”

I didn’t hear anything else. Gavin was already guiding me toward the doors, Irene and Nan close behind. Once inside, I thought the tightness in my chest would ease—but it didn’t. My stomach churned as nerves twisted deeper.

We scanned the crowd, searching for Olivia or Lila, hoping to shut this whole thing down before it escalated any further. Then my eyes landed on Daisy, and my heart dropped.

She was completely naked, moving through the room as she served drinks.

She looked thin. Hollow. Miserable. I knew immediately that Noah had something to do with it.

I had to break her curse—before she lost herself entirely.

Nearby, I spotted Irene snapping at yet another guest who had either brushed past her or dared to look at her the wrong way. She’d been on edge all day, and it only made my worry grow.

I knew exactly what—or rather, who—was behind it.

    Chuck.

I had to figure out how to break these curses.

I just needed to figure out how.
