Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3433
Faced with Luther’s hopeful and expectant smile, Andrew refused without hesitation.
“Mr. Johnston, I really can’t take that position,” he said plainly. “The main issue is that I already have far too much on my plate. My wives are all about to give birth soon.”
“Then there’s Philip from the military and the Divine Dragon Order constantly keeping an eye on me. On top of that, Throne City in the Outlands is also under my control.”
Andrew let out a helpless sigh.
“Honestly, Mr. Johnston, I may be powerful now, but I can’t handle everything at once. I’m already stretched too thin.”
Luther looked disappointed at first, but he soon nodded in understanding.
“You make a good point,” he admitted. “The global situation is changing again, and the responsibilities you’re carrying will only grow heavier.”
Then he smiled warmly.
“But your wives are pregnant? Well, congratulations.”
Andrew quickly thanked him.
Throughout the entire conversation, Shiloh had kept her brows slightly furrowed.
Now she stepped forward and shot Andrew a glance. There was a hint of playful affection in her eyes.
Then she straightened her expression and turned to Luther.
“Luther, I want to ask you a strange question.”
She addressed him directly by name.
Although she looked like a woman in her late twenties, her tone carried the authority of someone far older.
Luther immediately lowered his posture respectfully and showed no irritation at all.
“Please ask, Ms. Greene. If I know the answer, I’ll certainly tell you.”
Shiloh blushed faintly before speaking.
“While we were in the Veiled Paradise, Valerie, Luna, Nyx, and I all became pregnant.”
“Now, that kind of thing isn’t impossible… but it does feel a bit strange.”
“For all four of us to conceive at the same time—could there be some special reason behind it?”
Luther was clearly surprised.
He studied Shiloh carefully before glancing at Nyx, Luna, and Valerie.
The three women immediately flushed with embarrassment.
Only Shiloh remained completely calm.
After living for a thousand years, she feared almost nothing.
In fact, Andrew was the only person who had ever truly subdued her.
Only when facing him did she sometimes show helplessness.
As for everyone else, she hardly paid them any attention.
Anyone who dared oppose her would simply be dealt with.
After thinking for a long moment, Luther finally spoke.
“This probably isn’t related to the Veiled Paradise. In other words, it likely has little to do with the Sacred Realm.”
He looked directly at Andrew.
“The root of the matter… is probably Andrew himself.”
Andrew and the others were stunned.
“The issue lies with me?” Andrew asked. “Mr. Johnston, how do you explain that?”
Luther thought for a moment before smiling.
“This is only a rough guess.”
“According to what I know, the great powerhouses of ancient times possessed incredibly strong bloodlines.”
“One of the natural effects of such bloodlines was the ability to produce descendants easily.”
“It was a natural advantage that only supreme powerhouses possessed.”
He paused before continuing.
“Now that you’ve already surpassed the Beneath the Gods realm, calling you a god wouldn’t even be an exaggeration.”
“Because of that, your physical constitution—and even your genetics—may have undergone a fundamental transformation.”
“So when it comes to producing offspring, it becomes much easier for your bloodline to continue.”
Eleanor suddenly spoke up.
“That actually makes sense. I remember reading something similar to that theory before. Mr. Johnston, you really are knowledgeable.”
Luther smiled modestly.
“You flatter me. This is only my personal speculation. As for the real answer, that would still depend on Andrew himself.”
Andrew fell into deep thought.
“Maybe we should test it.”
Nyx giggled mischievously.
“Sure. Then I’ll go call Lauren, Rowan, Natasha, Aspen, Chantelle, and Francesca.”
“After they heard that some of us were pregnant, they didn’t seem very happy.”
Andrew looked completely speechless.
“That’s not the kind of test I meant. Don’t get it mixed up.”
Nyx snorted softly.
“Well, that kind of test wouldn’t be a bad idea either.”
“Besides, with so many of us around, having babies together would be wonderful.”
She turned to the others with a playful smile.
“Luna, Valerie, Shiloh… what do you think?”
