Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3432
Dalton nodded.
“That’s right. You’ve experienced it yourself. Is there a problem?”
Andrew frowned slightly and thought for a moment before continuing.
“Is it possible that the dense spiritual energy here also improves fertility? Like… maybe it makes it easier for women to get pregnant?”
Dalton looked surprised. Clearly, he hadn’t expected Andrew to ask something like that.
Another powerhouse beside him chuckled.
“Well, there’s no solid evidence for that. But dense spiritual energy is beneficial to everything and everyone.”
Andrew gave a quiet “hmm” and fell into thought.
The rich spiritual energy probably wasn’t the real reason.
After all, three of his girlfriends had gotten pregnant so easily, and Shiloh was even expecting their second child.
No matter how he looked at it, that was the reality.
Since that was the case, it was time to return to Holtrien.
There were important matters that needed to be handled there.
Besides, Shiloh’s temper had grown noticeably worse after becoming pregnant. She would lose her patience at the slightest thing and throw little tantrums.
She was nothing like the calm and composed woman she used to be.
Andrew felt completely helpless.
Soon, they set a date to leave.
Andrew, his lovers, and his parents prepared to bid farewell to the Veiled Paradise.
However, on the very day they were about to depart, shocking news suddenly reached him.
At the last moment, Eleanor and Nyx hurried over.
The instant Eleanor arrived, she shot Andrew a fierce glare.
“You little rascal! Look what you’ve done now!”
Andrew looked completely baffled.
“Mom, what did I do this time to make you angry?”
Eleanor sneered.
“You still have the nerve to ask?”
“Nyx is pregnant too! All four of them are pregnant at the same time!”
“Andrew, couldn’t you keep it in your pants for even a moment?”
“In this Sacred Realm, instead of focusing on cultivating and improving your martial arts, all you’ve done is give me a whole legion of grandchildren! Are you trying to exhaust me?”
Andrew stood there in total shock.
He slowly turned to look at Nyx.
Nyx lowered her head shyly, her golden hair partly covering her face.
“I didn’t know either…” she said softly. “She just told me earlier. Apparently… I’m pregnant too.”
Andrew’s face darkened instantly.
What on earth was going on?
All four of his girlfriends were pregnant at the same time.
Had he somehow turned into a fertility god?
It really was just like the saying—getting there was easy; coming back was the hard part.
Still, pregnancy was good news.
Deep down, Andrew was happy.
The Lloyd royal family was powerful and wealthy. Raising several children at once would not be a problem.
Eventually, the group left the Veiled Paradise.
Before returning, they spent two days resting in Throne City on the frontier.
Afterward, they flew straight back to Holtrien, heading for Chetvine.
What surprised Andrew most was that Luther, the leader of Mount Lourneau, was visiting the Lloyd family estate.
When Luther saw Andrew return, he smiled warmly.
“Andy, I’ve been waiting for you for quite some time.”
Andrew replied politely, “Mr. Johnston, is there something urgent you wanted to discuss?”
Luther paused briefly before speaking.
“Well, here’s the situation. The Eight Ancient Sects suffered heavy losses during the recent battle against the foreign forces.”
“But overall, everyone’s mindset has changed.”
“We no longer want to hide away from the modern world like we used to. Instead, we want to actively integrate with it.”
“So we’d like to invite you to become the Grand Leader of the Eight Ancient Sects.”
“You would oversee all of us and have the final authority.”
“Of course, you wouldn’t need to deal with daily affairs. What we really need is someone powerful enough to command everyone’s respect.”
Luther looked directly at Andrew and continued,
“And after thinking it over… I realized that no one fits that role better than you.”
