Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3413
Andrew said coldly, “Just realizing that now? Too bad. It’s already too late!”
Nyx hurriedly called out, “Andrew, don’t kill Arya!”
But Andrew continued his relentless assault. Arya, like a candle flickering in the wind, struggled desperately to defend herself. In the end, she spat out a mouthful of blood.
A surge of fury deepened the darkness surrounding her.
Andrew’s voice turned icy. “Nyx, you can’t persuade her. She’s already become a slave to the darkness!”
Arya howled in agony. “I’m not a slave! I don’t want this… I don’t! But I can’t break free!”
Andrew replied flatly, “If you can’t break free, then let me end it for you. Arya, my target right now is the Vampire Queen. If you keep getting in my way, then despite our past, I won’t hold back.”
Arya’s face twisted with pain as she struggled.
Suddenly, she roared, “Andrew, just kill me! Do it!”
The moment the words left her mouth, her eyes turned blood red, and a sinister dark aura surged around her again. Gripping her sword, she lunged at Andrew.
Andrew took a deep breath. He knew Arya had sunk too far into corruption to turn back.
The black and red in his eyes faded, replaced by a pure milky white.
Brilliant holy light then flooded across the blade of Godslayer.
Andrew swung his sword.
A massive wave of white sword energy engulfed Arya like an ocean.
Within that sea of blinding light, Arya suddenly screamed in agony.
Then the darkness around her body began to evaporate, peeling away from her form.
A look of relief slowly appeared on her face.
She gazed deeply at Andrew one final time.
Finally, with an expression of peace, she fell toward the base of the mountain.
Tears welled in Nyx’s eyes as she shouted, “Arya!”
She wanted to chase after her, but reason forced her to stop.
She knew that the battle at Blood Sanctum was the top priority right now.
Even though Arya had once been her best friend, she could not afford to worry about her life or death in this moment.
Andrew withdrew his greatsword, breathing slightly heavier than before.
Arya had given up her resistance.
In the end, she chose to perish within the holy light.
It seemed the archangel of the Cathedral had never truly abandoned her fight against the darkness after all.
That earned Andrew a measure of respect.
The battle had already reached a fever pitch.
Without hesitation, Andrew surged forward again.
Holy light poured from his greatsword in powerful waves.
Alfonso, who had been locked in a brutal clash with Lachlan at the gates of Blood Sanctum, suddenly widened his eyes in shock.
With a furious roar, blue light erupted behind him like a tidal wave.
He unleashed his full power, meeting Andrew’s attack head-on.
Andrew showed no emotion.
He soared high into the sky, raising his greatsword above his head.
Then, wrapped in crackling red lightning, a sky-splitting strike came crashing down.
Alfonso bellowed, “How dare you!”
He shot into the air, spreading his arms wide.
He was actually trying to embrace Andrew’s descending sword energy head-on.
But Lachlan suddenly manifested countless figures once again.
They wrapped around Alfonso, dragging him downward.
Andrew’s devastating strike slammed directly into the Blood Sanctum.
In an instant, one corner of the massive structure was blown apart.
It felt as though the earth itself were collapsing.
The entire mountain trembled violently, as if it were about to crumble.
The powerhouses of the Dark Clans roared in fury.
And their attacks became even more desperate than before.
