Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3412
Andrew had already clashed with Arya, and after her fall into darkness, her power had risen to an entirely new level.
She was now no weaker than a dark progenitor—perhaps even stronger.
Otherwise, the Vampire Queen would never have made Arya her personal attendant.
At the highest point of the battlefield stood two legendary figures.
One had once been the Grand Archangel of the Lomuia Grand Cathedral, the Number One Battle Angel.
The other was the brightest war star of Holtrien.
Their clash lit up the sky in every direction.
For a long time, neither side gained the upper hand. It was impossible to tell who would win—or who would die.
Pietro and Lachlan breathed a long sigh of relief.
Andrew had not failed them, nor had he failed Holtrien.
Lachlan spread his hands, weaving them continuously through the air.
Immediately, an energy cage formed, trapping the vampire progenitor Jorge Monreale inside.
Jorge roared and began transforming.
Lachlan pointed a finger, striking the transforming Jorge directly between the eyes.
Instantly, Jorge’s body twisted violently as massive amounts of blood burst from him.
It looked as if someone were draining him dry.
Seizing the moment, Lachlan shot forward.
In an instant, he charged straight into the Blood Sanctum.
This had been the plan agreed upon beforehand by the three leaders of the Divine Dragon Order—Lachlan, Pietro, and Elio.
One of them would storm the Sanctum first, forcing the Vampire Queen to reveal herself.
The plan was so dangerous that Elio had not even told Andrew about it.But the moment Lachlan rushed into Blood Sanctum, he was met by the last of the three emperors—Alfonso Ortega of Mirelan.
The emperor stood fully armed.
His iron-clad hands clenched suddenly.
Invisible forces surged outward.
Lachlan’s figure dissolved into a wisp of smoke and vanished.
A storm powerful enough to overturn mountains erupted inside the Sanctum.
Moments later, Lachlan stumbled back out, his expression grim.
Alfonso stood alone at the entrance of Blood Sanctum.
His entire body was covered in black armor, with only his eyes visible.
He scanned the battlefield with a cold, detached gaze.
No matter how many lives were lost, he remained unmoved.
He had only one mission—to prevent anyone from entering the Blood Sanctum and disturbing the Vampire Queen.
The only way through would be over his dead body.
With a cold snort, Lachlan’s body exploded in midair.
In an instant, ninety-nine white-robed figures spread across the sky.
It was impossible to tell which one was the real Lachlan.
Then they all surged toward Alfonso at once.
Alfonso’s gaze remained indifferent, tinged with contempt.
He stepped forward calmly and spread his arms wide.
Elsewhere on the battlefield, two beings approaching the realm Beneath the Gods were locked in a deadly fight.
“Arya, stop! You can’t serve the darkness!”
Nyx’s anguished cry rang out across the battlefield.
But Arya remained unmoved.
The burning black greatsword in her hand spun in a massive arc before crashing down onto Andrew’s Godslayer.
Enormous sparks erupted as the two clashed.
They battled from the sky down to the base of the mountain.
Then they surged upward again, racing along the mountain wall.
Within a few breaths, they reached the summit once more.
Andrew’s eyes grew colder, gradually transforming.
One side darkened into shadow.
The other burned crimson red.
At last, a black-and-red sword beam—like a collapsing pillar of heaven—slashed outward.
Arya grunted in pain, gritting her teeth as she was blasted off the mountaintop.
The lifeless look in her eyes finally shifted.
She stared at him in disbelief.
“You’re actually stronger than me now?”
