Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3397

    Andrew’s relaxed smile finally faded.

“A child?” Elio repeated slowly, his voice almost cracking from disbelief. His eyes moved between Nyx and Andrew as if trying to confirm whether this was some elaborate joke.

Nyx nodded impatiently. “Yes, a child. Your child. She said you should take care of him.”

Elio staggered half a step backward.

For a moment, the dignified leader of the Divine Dragon Order looked like someone whose entire worldview had collapsed.

    “Impossible…” he muttered.

Jeffery, Philip, and the others were no better. Their expressions were stiff, their eyes wide with shock.

An ancient legend who had lived for nearly a thousand years…

A woman who even the strongest figures in Holtrien only spoke about in hushed voices…

    Had a child with Andrew?

Orson’s mouth opened and closed several times before he finally shouted, “This is absurd! Absolutely absurd! You expect us to believe that the ancestor of the Greene family had a child with him?!”

    Andrew shrugged casually.

“Believe it or not, that’s up to you.”

But his expression quickly became serious again.

    “Where is she?”

Nyx pointed toward the inner courtyard of Azure Gate.

“She’s waiting there. But you’d better hurry. Her aura already started changing… I think she’s preparing to leave.”

Andrew did not waste another second.

His figure flashed and disappeared like a gust of wind.

Inside the quiet courtyard of Azure Gate, the atmosphere was completely different from the noisy gathering outside.

    The air felt strangely heavy.

Shiloh stood beneath an ancient stone arch, her long hair swaying gently in the wind. The aura around her had become cold and distant—nothing like the indifferent woman from earlier.

In her arms was a small child wrapped in white cloth.

When Andrew stepped into the courtyard, she turned slightly.

For the first time since he had known her, her expression looked… soft.

    “You came.”

Andrew walked over slowly and looked at the child in her arms.

The baby was asleep, completely unaware of the terrifying fate surrounding his parents.

    Andrew sighed.

“So you’re really going to do it.”

    Shiloh nodded.

“The Vampire Queen has awakened. I can feel her clearly now.”

Her eyes lifted toward the distant northern horizon.

“This time… only one of us will remain.”

    Andrew frowned slightly.

“You waited nearly a thousand years for this moment. Are you really going to settle it alone?”

Shiloh looked back at him calmly.

    “This is not your war.”

    Andrew laughed quietly.

“It became my war the moment you became my wife.”

For a brief moment, Shiloh was silent.

Then she gently placed the child into Andrew’s arms.

    “This is our son.”

Andrew held the baby carefully, an unfamiliar expression appearing on his usually calm face.

    “He will need a name.”

    Shiloh continued softly.

“If I return, we will name him together.”

    “And if I don’t…”

    She paused.

    “…then you choose one.”

    Andrew’s eyes narrowed.

“You’re talking like you might lose.”

    Shiloh looked at him steadily.

    “Even legends can die.”

The wind in the courtyard suddenly grew stronger, her aura rising like a silent storm.

Andrew suddenly reached out and grabbed her wrist.

    “You’re forgetting something.”

Shiloh looked down at his hand.

    Andrew smiled faintly.

“You said you’d listen to your husband a little.”

For the first time, the ancient Saintess of the Greene family actually looked… slightly helpless.

    “And?”

    Andrew’s voice became firm.

    “You’re not going alone.”

    The courtyard fell completely silent.

Even the wind seemed to stop.
