Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3396

Andrew chuckled softly at Orson’s complaint.

“Maybe she simply didn’t find you worth recognizing.”

    Orson’s face darkened instantly.

“Andrew! Watch your words. I am—”

Before he could finish, Elio raised a hand to stop him. His eyes were still fixed in the direction where Shiloh had walked away, his expression unusually serious.

“You’re all thinking too narrowly,” Elio said slowly.

“The Eight Ancient Sects… the royal families… even the Divine Dragon Order—none of them are old enough.”

Jeffery frowned. “Old enough for what?”

    Elio took a deep breath.

    “For her.”

The surrounding veterans exchanged confused looks.

Philip leaned forward. “Elio, stop being mysterious. Just tell us.”

Elio finally turned back toward them.

“If my guess is correct… the person you just met might be someone recorded in the oldest archives of the Divine Dragon Order.”

    Bridget’s eyes widened.

“Those archives date back over two thousand years.”

    Elio nodded.

“There was once a woman known as the Moon Saint of the Greene family.”

“The records say she appeared during the late era of the ancient martial dynasties, when monsters still roamed the outer territories and martial saints walked the earth.”

    Donovan swallowed.

    “You’re saying… she’s that old?”

    Elio shook his head slightly.

“No one knows her exact age. The only thing recorded is that she disappeared long before the rise of the current martial world.”

    He paused.

“But before she vanished, she once visited the Divine Dragon Order.”

    Jeffery leaned forward. “And?”

    Elio’s voice lowered.

“She had a conversation with my master… Salvatore Vitale.”

The name alone made several of the veterans straighten instinctively.

“According to the records,” Elio continued, “she and my master exchanged techniques for three days.”

    Philip’s jaw dropped.

    “Three days?”

    Elio nodded.

“And when it ended, my master wrote only one sentence in the archive.”

    “What sentence?” Luna asked quietly.

Elio repeated the line from memory.

“Her power is like the moon above the ocean—calm, immeasurable, and eternal.”

    Silence fell over the group.

    Even Orson stopped complaining.

    Jeffery slowly turned to Andrew.

“So… the woman you just casually brought here…”

“…might be someone who stood on equal footing with Salvatore Vitale two hundred years ago?”

    Andrew rubbed his forehead.

    “That sounds about right.”

    Donovan looked stunned.

“And you just let her wander off?”

    Andrew shrugged.

    “You try stopping her.”

    At that moment—

Luna suddenly returned, slightly out of breath.

    “Andrew!”

Andrew looked up. “Did you catch her?”

    Luna shook her head.

“She didn’t go far… but she stopped near the Azure Gate entrance.”

    Her voice lowered.

    “She said something strange.”

Andrew frowned. “What did she say?”

    Luna hesitated before answering.

“She said… the seal beneath Azure Gate is starting to weaken.”

    The veterans instantly stiffened.

    Jeffery’s expression turned grave.

    “You mean… that seal?”

    Elio’s eyes narrowed.

“If the Moon Saint noticed it…”

“…then the situation might be far worse than we thought.”

Far in the distance, Shiloh stood quietly at the edge of the Azure Gate plaza.

Her silver eyes gazed toward the deep mountains beyond the city.

For a moment, the wind stirred her long hair.

    She whispered softly to herself.

    “…After all these years.”

    “…it’s finally waking up again.”
