Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3394
Azure Gate welcomed a figure of immense importance.
“Elio, after all these years, it finally takes a moment like this to see the leader of the Divine Dragon Order in person,” Philip said as he and Jeffery of the Hearst royal family personally stepped forward to receive him.
Alongside them, the sect masters of the Eight Ancient Sects were also present. Monty, Bridget, Rupert, and Luther had arrived. Alfredo, the head of Swordhaven Keep, stood nearby, with Dorothy beside him.
As for Julius, the former sect master of the Divine Alchemists, he had already been killed by Andrew. His fall from grace within Holtrien’s Eight Ancient Sects had been swift, and now few people even mentioned his name.
There was also a special figure among the crowd—Orson, the patriarch of the Nieves family from Holtrien’s Sylvan Peaks.
Add to that the heads of Holtrien’s four noble houses and the patriarchs of the two royal families.
In short, the arrival of Elio—one of the three supreme leaders of the Divine Dragon Order—had drawn every influential figure at Azure Gate.
Elio’s expression was stern, giving him the appearance of a hardened old man. Yet within Holtrien—especially within its military—he was regarded as a near-mythical figure.
Even setting aside his position as one of the three supreme leaders of the Divine Dragon Order, his transcendent strength at the Beyond Mortal level alone made him one of the pillars supporting Holtrien.
“Everyone, I’ll keep this brief,” Elio said bluntly as soon as he arrived. “This war has reached a turning point.”
“Because of Andrew and the Cavendish royal family’s major clash with the Three Empires’ allied forces in the northeast, the entire situation has shifted dramatically. Therefore, Holtrien’s strategic direction must be reconsidered and redefined.”
His words caused several expressions in the room to change.
Philip spoke in a grave tone. “Elio, just say it plainly. The current situation is entirely favorable for Holtrien. Changing strategy is no small matter—it’s not something that can be decided with just a few words.”
Elio’s solemn gaze swept across everyone present.
Finally, he explained, “At its core, this war was triggered by the power struggle between the rulers and hidden forces behind the eastern and western continents. The direction of the conflict has always revolved around the confrontation between the top powers of both continents.”
He paused before continuing.
“I’m telling you this so you understand that the real battle is only beginning now.”
“The Vampire Queen has recalled all Dark progenitor-level beings. She has also summoned the emperors of the Three Empires.”
“These top figures of the Western continent are now gathering at the Blood Sanctum—the headquarters of the vampires.”
The room erupted in shocked murmurs.
Many of those present had never even heard of the Vampire Queen. Others had no idea she had already awakened.
Only now, with Elio revealing it openly, did the truth come to light.
Sheena spoke up. “Mr. Anderson, if the rulers of the Western continent and the Three Emperors are all gathering at the Vampire Queen’s lair, why don’t we take the initiative and launch a decisive attack on the Blood Sanctum?”
Elio chuckled briefly, then his expression turned serious again.
“That’s exactly what I meant when I said our strategy must change.”
“The Vampire Queen has sensed a deadly threat—that’s why she’s making this move. It’s a defensive reaction. And because of that, this is the best opportunity Holtrien—and the entire eastern continent—will ever have.”
Philip slowly shook his head.
“But to attack the Blood Sanctum, we’d have to cross the Outlands. With such a long journey, how long would it take for our army to arrive?”
Elio replied calmly, “The main army won’t be moving. There are still Dark Clan forces outside Azure Gate holding them in place.”
“The other two leaders and I have already discussed this.”
“Holtrien will dispatch every warrior at the Martial God level and above to strike the Blood Sanctum.”
“We will bring the decisive battle directly onto the Dark Clans’ home ground.”
The moment those words were spoken, the entire hall erupted into an uproar.
