Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3341

Giovanni let out a cold laugh. “I’m going after them right now. I’ll stop every single disciple.”

He had barely made it halfway when Jerome stepped in front of him.

Smiling calmly, Jerome asked, “Elder Cantino, why the rush? Is something wrong?”

“Move!” Giovanni roared. “Andrew pulled a dirty trick. He dared to deceive Madam Fontaine.”

Andrew stepped forward from the side. “Most of the Harmony Sect disciples have already headed down the mountain. At a time like this, Elder Cantino, it would be wise not to create unnecessary trouble.”

Giovanni gritted his teeth. “I’m intercepting my own sect’s disciples. That’s none of your concern.”

Andrew casually took the greatsword from Eric’s hand. “Maybe it isn’t,” he said lightly. “But whether the sword in my hand can tolerate what you’re about to do… that’s another matter.”

    Giovanni’s face drained of color.

    The threat was unmistakable.

Andrew gave a cold snort. A domineering surge of inner energy erupted from him, pressing down like a tidal wave.

For a split second, fear flashed across Giovanni’s eyes.

He finally understood—Andrew’s internal force was terrifying. Even Dorothy likely didn’t possess one-tenth of his strength.

His heart trembled. Cold sweat soaked his back. He didn’t dare continue forward.

Instead, he turned and walked back toward the Harmony Sect gates.

Eric smirked. “Serves him right. Madam Fontaine outsmarted herself this time.”

Andrew frowned slightly. “Let’s go back inside. I’m worried Dorothy might take it out on Ms. Easterling.”

Eric raised an eyebrow with a teasing grin. “Oh? Is the great Andrew getting soft?”

“It’s not that,” Andrew replied evenly. “I just don’t want her punished for something she didn’t do. All things considered, she’s not a bad person.”

Jerome nodded. “That’s fair. The Harmony Sect didn’t clash with us directly, and they didn’t show open hostility. It’s better to settle this cleanly.”

Soon, Andrew reentered the Harmony Sect grounds. Meanwhile, Jerome and the others urged the disciples to move faster.

They wanted them far from the gates—so even if Dorothy tried to stop them, it would already be too late.

When Dorothy saw Andrew return, her anger ignited.

“Andrew, do you have any idea how disrespectful this is to the Harmony Sect?”

Andrew answered calmly, “Madam Fontaine, blame me if you wish. But striking your own disciple so ruthlessly reveals more about you than it does about me.”

He walked over, took out a pill, and handed it to Charlotte.

She kept her head lowered, tears falling silently. She neither spoke nor accepted it.

Andrew gently placed the pill beside her hand, then turned back to Dorothy.

    Her fury had not faded.

“Andrew,” she said through clenched teeth, “since you’re so deceitful, none of my disciples will go with you.”

Andrew’s voice turned cold. “Madam Fontaine, if I resorted to deception, it was because I had no choice. We had an agreement. If I withstood the temptation, your disciples would descend the mountain.”

He continued, steady and firm. “As for Ms. Easterling, I never laid a hand on her. By any standard, that means I won.”

“Then why did you knock her out?” Dorothy shot back. “Why stage that entire scene to make it look suspicious?”

Andrew snorted. “Obviously, I did it to ensure your disciples left first. If I hadn’t, wouldn’t you have found an excuse afterward to back out of the deal?”

    Dorothy fell silent.

That had indeed been her plan. If Charlotte failed, she would have stalled—delayed matters until she secured Andrew’s vital essence for herself.

Giovanni stepped forward again, fury blazing in his eyes.

“Fine. Even if you technically won, the way you did it was shameless. Don’t expect anyone in the Harmony Sect to respect you for it.”
