Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3326

Andrew was drowning in fear, cold sweat soaking down his back. Helpless, he watched as Tiana slipped off her final piece of clothing. She caught his hand and pressed it to her waist, biting her lower lip as she moved against him in a slow, deliberate rhythm.

His thoughts unraveled by the second. An icy chill spread through his body, and he recognized the warning signs. His mind was on the brink of collapse. If it broke, he would become something else—something ruled by madness. He would fall completely under Byron’s control, reduced to nothing more than a puppet.

Beneath him, a massive black void split open. Gravity seized him, dragging him down. At the bottom, more faces waited—Bridget, Arya, Elaine. They turned toward him with expressions of shy affection, aching longing, and open devotion. Their clothing hung loose or barely covered them, their invitations blatant and unrestrained. Some turned their backs and then faced him again, offering everything without hesitation.

Andrew’s skull throbbed as if it were about to crack. The pressure mounted. The chaos swallowed him whole.

In the real world, the protective barrier around him flickered violently. Starved of the energy he could no longer supply, it began to fracture, splintering apart piece by piece.

Byron’s grotesque, withered face emerged from the black mist, his eyes gleaming with hunger and triumph.

“Once I devour you, I’ll ascend beyond imagination,” he rasped, trembling with excitement. “A Beyond Mortal cultivator as prey? There’s no sweeter meal.”

    At last, the barrier shattered.

The black mist flooded in from every direction, crashing over Andrew and wrapping him in suffocating darkness. His heart dropped.

Then, deep within him—somewhere untouched by corruption—a soft, milky-white glow stirred.

At the same instant, the totem mark on his chest ignited, blazing bright and fierce. Raw, cleansing power surged through him like a tidal wave.

Andrew threw his head back and roared.

A massive pillar of light erupted from his body and shot straight into the sky.

“What?!” Byron’s scream tore through the mist, laced with disbelief.

The holy light devoured the darkness, burning and purifying it faster than it could regenerate.

Andrew seized his greatsword in both hands and brought it down in a single, earth-shattering strike. White light spiraled around the blade like a crashing tidal wave.

    The black mist exploded.

The shockwave ripped through the gates of the Umbral Peak Sect, shattering stone archways and sending entire sections of the entrance collapsing inward. Disciples who failed to escape in time were crushed beneath the falling debris, killed instantly.

    Byron stood directly before Andrew.

The blade pierced clean through his chest, blasting a hole the size of a barrel through his torso before he could react. He looked down in disbelief, eyes wide, body trembling.

“Y-You…” His face twisted in agony as a bone-rattling shriek tore from his throat.

And yet, he did not die.

He clawed at the air, desperately trying to hold himself together.

    Andrew’s expression never changed.

His grip remained steady as stone.

With a single horizontal swing, he cut cleanly across.

    Byron’s head went flying.

Just like that, it was over.

Having broken through to the Beyond Mortal realm, Andrew had claimed his first kill against an opponent of the same level.
