Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3324

It was Iridessa of the Eastonia royal family—a top-tier covert operative and Vance’s biological sister.

She had once taken Nyx’s face and shared an intoxicating, unexpected night with Andrew. When the deception was exposed, Andrew had let her go.

So why was she here now?

Why was she surfacing in his mind like this?

From a distant, detached vantage point, Andrew watched the scene unfold as if it were happening to someone else. He saw himself overpower her, saw the way she yielded—fluid, warm, whispering in a voice that felt like a summer breeze at midnight: gentle on the surface, layered with temptation underneath.

    The illusion shifted abruptly.

Byron’s laughter grated against his mind—obscene, delighted.

“Deeper… sink deeper,” Byron crooned. “What a fascinating soul you have. I’ve ended countless lives with this technique. But a heart as tangled as yours? That’s rare.”

Andrew forced his energy to circulate, trying to block out the voice.

    It seeped through anyway.

    The world twisted again.

Now he was on a bed—sheets rumpled, air thick. His shirt was gone. Beneath him lay a woman with luminous skin and a figure both mature and elegant.

“Are you sure you want this, sweetheart?” she murmured softly, like she already knew the answer.

    Andrew jolted and looked down.

    Victoria.

Her face was flushed—not just with desire, but with something shy and vulnerable. When their eyes met, she looked away quickly, even her neck turning crimson. Yet her legs locked around his waist, holding him in place.

“Victoria… what are you doing here?” His voice shook.

Their bodies were so close that only the smallest distance remained.

She lifted her face again. At the corners of her eyes were faint lines—marks of time that didn’t diminish her beauty in the slightest. If anything, they deepened it, giving her warmth and gravity.

    Andrew’s breath roughened.

    “No!”

    He fought back instinctively.

But Victoria’s arms slipped around his neck. She leaned forward and kissed him.

Heat flooded his veins. His thoughts blurred.

“Let go,” she whispered softly against his ear. “I’m here willingly…”

The words were tender—filled with affection.

And yet, they carried the pull of something dangerous. A siren’s call rising from the depths.

    His resistance faltered.

For a heartbeat, he wanted to surrender.

But deep inside, a final thread of clarity held firm. An unspoken boundary. A line he had never crossed.

It would not let him fall.

    He roared.

    His aura detonated outward.

The bed shattered into nothingness. Victoria dissolved into light. Just before she vanished, disappointment and tears glistened in her eyes, making his chest ache.

    Andrew shut his eyes.

    He refused to look.

Byron’s voice turned irritated. “You’re tougher than I thought.”

The Demon Waltz surged again, slamming against Andrew’s protective barrier while Byron launched a direct assault at the same time.

Inside the barrier, Andrew fought on two fronts—deflecting Byron’s attacks while suppressing the storm raging in his own heart.

    It was exhausting beyond words.

    Then—

    The illusion shifted again.

    Andrew cursed inwardly.

This time, two figures stood before him.

    “Andrew, you came.”

“Andrew… I don’t want to deny my feelings anymore. I want to give myself to you. Please don’t reject me.”

    Their voices were soft, pleading.

Andrew clenched his teeth, trying to turn away.

    But the figures grew clearer.

    His eyes widened.

    One was Brielle.

    The other—

    Tiana.
