Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3320
Julius burst into wild laughter. “Andrew, I thought you were indestructible. Looks like you’re seriously hurt after all, aren’t you?”
Andrew looked at him as if he were a fool. “Do I look seriously hurt to you?”
His voice was calm—almost bored.
“I just wanted to test how powerful the Divine Alchemists’ ultimate technique really is. From what I can tell… it’s nothing special.”
Julius’ pupils contracted violently. “That’s impossible!”
He had clearly seen Andrew’s chest burst open moments ago. Yet there wasn’t a single drop of blood—no wound, no injury, nothing.
The Word of Ruin drew upon the laws of heaven and earth themselves. It struck invisibly, killing without form. Even a peak martial god couldn’t withstand it.
And yet Andrew had taken it head-on—just to test it—and walked away completely unscathed.
Julius swallowed hard. A bitter expression crept across his face.
As his mind faltered, Andrew’s lips curled into a cold smile.
“Now it’s my turn.”
His right hand shot upward and tore violently at the sky.
Instantly, a vortex formed in the already dark heavens above the Umbral Peak Sect. A strand of crimson lightning crashed down.
This time, Andrew did not summon Godslayer as a conduit.
He caught the Primordial Thunder with his bare hand.
The red lightning coiled around his palm like a living dragon.
Then he moved.
In a flash, he appeared before Julius, pressing the crimson thunder toward his head.
Julius’ expression twisted viciously. He raised a trembling hand and pointed at Andrew.
“Destroy! Destroy! Destroy! Destroy!”
He unleashed the Word of Ruin four times in succession—his absolute limit. Any more, and his body would collapse, blood spraying from his mouth on the spot.
But this time—
It did nothing.
Andrew shattered the invisible laws effortlessly. The rebound came faster than Julius could retreat.
Crack!
His shoulder exploded, blood spilling freely.
Yet Andrew’s lightning-charged palm had already descended toward his crown.
Julius activated his movement technique, trying to flee—
And froze.
Horror flooded his eyes.
He couldn’t move.
An immense pressure cage had sealed the space around him, locking him in place completely.
Julius struggled and roared, but it was useless. Above him, the crimson lightning in Andrew’s hand grew brighter—more violent—pulsing with annihilation.
“Monty! Help me! Help me now!”
For the first time, pure terror tore through his voice.
From that red lightning, he sensed absolute destruction.
This could kill him.
The crimson thunder exploded.
The dark sky was instantly woven into a web of blood-red lightning. The air screamed.
Julius threw his head back and vomited blood. A piercing shriek ripped from his throat as the Primordial Thunder engulfed him.
His robes burned away. His white hair was reduced to ash. His body was nearly roasted alive—charred, smoking, barely recognizable.
He plummeted from the sky.
Monty had rushed forward instinctively to catch him—
But he was too late.
He could only watch as Julius fell, broken and half-dead.
In that instant, all of Monty’s fighting spirit vanished.
Andrew was absurdly strong. Unimaginably so.
With just the two of them, they had never stood a chance. And now Julius was gravely injured, hanging on by a thread.
Monty’s heart pounded with dread.
He turned desperately toward the mountain behind the Umbral Peak Sect and shouted:
“Sir! Show yourself and help me!”
He was calling upon someone even stronger than himself—
The Eastern Wanderer.
