Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3319
A surge of black energy roared in Monty’s palm before erupting outward.
“Stormrend Strike!” he bellowed.
The dark mist twisted violently in midair, morphing into a massive skeletal hand that crashed down toward Andrew.
At the same time, Julius unleashed his ultimate technique.
He pulled back, hovering in the air, and spoke a single word:
“Destroy!”
This was the Word of Ruin he had cultivated for years. Once before, Andrew had been struck by one of Julius’ word techniques—the word “Break.”
In an instant, invisible laws wrapped tightly around Andrew’s body.
Andrew let out a cold snort.
The true force within him surged outward like a tidal wave reversing course. The invisible restraints shattered instantly, tearing apart like fragile spiderwebs.
Julius grunted, pain flashing across his face as he jerked backward. He retreated abruptly—
The air where he had just been exploded violently.
Backlash.
If the Word of Ruin failed to harm its target, it rebounded on the caster. Had Julius not perfected this technique, that single recoil would have crippled him.
Meanwhile, the massive skeletal hand of black smoke slammed down—
Only to pass straight through empty space.
Monty’s triumph froze on his face.
Andrew’s figure had dissolved.
The next second, Andrew appeared at his side.
“Mr. Reyes,” Andrew said icily, “you’re really weak.”
Monty spun and unleashed a punch that shattered the air itself—
But Andrew vanished again.
This time, he appeared above him.
Monty reacted instantly, drawing back his fist for another strike—
Andrew’s eyes flashed cold.
“Inferno Strike.”
Flames roared from the sky as his palm descended like divine punishment.
Monty cursed inwardly and shot backward so fast he slammed into the cavern wall, rocks cascading down around him. He looked disheveled—but he had barely escaped the strike.
Andrew could now unleash Inferno Strike’s most devastating form—
Tides of Hellfire.
A blazing sea of fire swept downward toward Julius.
His white hair singed instantly.
Julius cursed under his breath. Monty’s desperate dodge had left him exposed. With a sharp snort, he raised a defensive barrier and retreated at full speed.
Andrew’s expression never changed as he pursued.
Monty followed behind him, roaring as he launched attack after attack. Explosions thundered through the cavern. The entire mountain hall began cracking apart.
Several Umbral Peak Sect disciples were crushed beneath falling rocks, their screams echoing in terror.
Fortunately, the battle shifted outward.
Julius in front.
Andrew in the middle.
Monty at the rear.
The three top-tier powerhouses burst out beyond the sect grounds.
Julius hovered in the air, robes and white hair whipping violently in the wind. His expression was grim as he steadied himself.
Monty positioned himself diagonally across from him. The two formed a pincer formation around Andrew.
Julius attacked first, launching a ferocious assault.
Andrew didn’t even move from his position in midair. With a casual sweep of one hand, he knocked Julius back.
“Mr. Reyes, now!” Julius shouted.
Monty needed no second urging. He struck again.
The Umbral Peak Sect’s secret art manifested once more—a black skeletal hand of smoke tearing toward Andrew.
Andrew threw a straight punch.
The smoky hand shattered instantly.
Monty’s entire body trembled as the backlash tore through him. Internal injuries flared in his chest.
“Destroy! Destroy! Destroy! Destroy!”
Julius’ face twisted into something sinister as he unleashed the Word of Ruin four times in rapid succession.
Four invisible killing forces wrapped around Andrew in an instant.
Three shattered immediately under the crushing pressure of his power.
The fourth—
Cracked.
With a sharp tearing sound, the fabric across Andrew’s chest split open.
