Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3318
Andrew sneered at Julius. “Two years ago, you thought you were untouchable. Now? In my eyes, you’re nothing more than an ant.”
Julius’ face twisted with fury. “Andrew, the louder a man brags, the harder he falls. I know you’ve grown stronger—shockingly so. But I’ve ruled over Holtrien for half my life. I’ve never feared anyone. And I certainly don’t fear you.”
Andrew chuckled softly. “Never feared anyone? Julius, aren’t you embarrassed saying that? You were afraid of my father, weren’t you?
“And since you claim you’re not afraid of me, why don’t you come down here and fight me one-on-one?”
Julius wanted nothing more than to tear Andrew apart on the spot. But stepping into a solo fight? That was the last thing he intended to do.
He wasn’t a fool. If Andrew had made it here, that meant Guillermo was already dead. Julius and Guillermo had always been evenly matched. Even if Julius believed he was slightly stronger, that advantage meant nothing now. If Guillermo had fallen, charging in alone would be suicide.
So instead, he straightened and spoke in a righteous tone. “Mr. Reyes, you’ve seen this brat’s arrogance for yourself. I originally planned to deal with him personally. But since he clearly has no respect for the Umbral Peak Sect either, I suggest we join forces with the Divine Alchemists and teach him a lesson he’ll never forget.
“We’ll make him wish he were dead.”
Monty’s eyes turned icy. “Exactly my thoughts. Mr. Bowen, let’s strike together and destroy him.”
The two powerhouses moved at the same time.
One attacked from the left, the other from the right. Their palm strikes roared through the cavern like thunder, shaking the entire cave and sending chunks of rock crashing down from above.
Nyx’s gaze turned cold as she prepared to intercept one of them.
Andrew barked, “No need! Nyx, Mr. Thornton—protect the others.”
The disciples of the Umbral Peak Sect roared and surged forward in waves.
Clarence rallied his veteran officers, ready to counterattack. But Nyx, Rowan, Jerome, Eric, and Valerie had already moved, meeting the enemy head-on without hesitation.
Clarence froze for a split second.
Everyone around Andrew was a powerhouse. And Nyx in particular radiated the terrifying presence of a martial god.
At that moment, Andrew moved.
His left palm swept out as his right palm thrust forward. He met Monty and Julius head-on—palm against palm.
Boom.
A violent surge of energy exploded from the collision, sending shockwaves tearing through the cavern. The entire mountain seemed to tremble.
Monty’s face twitched as waves of force rippled across his skin. Disbelief flooded his eyes.
Andrew’s power was brutally overwhelming.
Julius felt even more horrified.
That strike had contained his full strength. Yet Andrew hadn’t dodged, hadn’t retreated. He had faced them directly—while splitting his power to deal with Monty at the same time.
If Andrew had been fighting him alone, Julius realized with a chill, he might have been defeated in the very first exchange.
Cold sweat soaked his back. But instead of fear, it fueled his killing intent.
Andrew had to die.
“Mr. Reyes, go all out!” Julius roared.
Two thunderous blasts rang out. Andrew’s arms trembled for a split second—then a terrifying force erupted from his palms, blasting both men backward at the same time.
The three figures shot into the vast open space of the cavern, unleashing their full power without restraint.
Andrew did not draw Godslayer.
With that blade’s might, a single swing could have brought the entire cavern crashing down. He didn’t care if the Umbral Peak Sect’s disciples were buried alive—but he refused to let his own allies or the military soldiers be caught in the collapse.
Besides, he didn’t need it.
Even without Godslayer, Andrew was more than enough to crush these two pieces of trash.
