Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3305
Valerie sneered. “Perfect timing. We were just about to head to the Thunder Sect, and you delivered yourself right to our doorstep. What’s your name?”
Eren gave a cold smirk. “That depends on who’s asking.”
Valerie’s voice stayed calm. “That answer works. But how many rounds of beating you can handle? That’s what really matters.”
She didn’t hesitate. Her fist flew.
Within seconds, Eren’s face was swollen and bruised. He cried out miserably, “Stop, stop! Please spare me! I was wrong!”
Valerie landed a few more punches before finally stepping back.
She looked down at him. “So. Are you going to cooperate now?”
Eren’s face crumpled. “Y-Yes! My name is Eren Kirstein, nickname Swift Shadow. I’m an unofficial disciple of the Thunder Sect.”
Eric barked, “I don’t care who you are. What were you doing sneaking onto Mount Lourneau in the middle of the night?”
Eren shrank back. “I was gathering intel. And… I thought I’d try my luck. See if I could kidnap the Lloyd family’s Dragon Prince.”
Andrew nodded lightly. “Ambitious. Unfortunately for you, it didn’t work.”
Eren stared at him in disbelief. “Exactly! I failed! But how are you fine? The Mindfog Powder is impossible to avoid!”
Andrew didn’t bother explaining that he was immune to poison.
He turned to Eric. “Make him lead the way. We’re heading to the Thunder Sect. This saves us time.”
The moment Eren heard that, he lifted his chin stubbornly. “Lead the way? Impossible. Kill me if you want. I’m not afraid of death, and I’ll never betray my sect.”
Valerie smiled sweetly. “Honey, let me interrogate him, okay? I guarantee he’ll cooperate.”
Andrew frowned. “Valerie, don’t mess around.”
“Oh, come on. Trust me this once.” She tilted her head. “And lend me a couple of your acupuncture needles. Nyx, Rowan—you two stay with me.”
The other two women didn’t know what she was planning, but they stayed to watch.
A moment later, Andrew stepped outside.
Shrill screams tore through the air.
Then came Eren’s frantic surrender.
“I’ll lead the way! I’m begging you! I won’t dare again! I’ll lead the way— I’ll lead the way!”
His voice shook uncontrollably. The pain was clearly beyond anything he could tolerate.
Jerome stared in shock. “Ms. Reyes… I didn’t expect you to be such an interrogation genius.”
Andrew walked back inside.
Eren was drenched in sweat, face pale, body trembling nonstop. Nyx and Rowan looked flushed—almost excited. Valerie, meanwhile, stared at Eren with unsettling interest, as if she wasn’t quite finished.
Andrew narrowed his eyes. “Valerie. What did you do to him?”
She smiled innocently. “Nothing much. I just gave him a little taste of something… special.”
When she didn’t elaborate, Andrew turned to Eric. “You were in there. What terrified him so badly?”
Eric raised both hands in surrender. “Your girl is a complete devil. She had me stick acupuncture needles into his third leg.”
Andrew winced and looked at Valerie. “Aren’t you ashamed?”
Valerie rolled her eyes. “Ashamed of what? I didn’t do it myself—Eric did. I just gave directions. And it was through his pants. A few quick pricks, that’s all.”
Eric added, “Besides that, we also inserted needles into his nostrils, his energy core, and his tongue.”
All of them were extremely vulnerable points.
Valerie’s twisted creativity was disturbing.
But undeniably effective.
After lying on the ground for two minutes, Eren no longer dared to resist. He nodded obediently, too shaken to protest.
Andrew didn’t waste time.
With Eren leading the way, the group immediately set out for the Thunder Sect.
