Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3304
Night had already fallen, and Andrew and the others stayed at Mount Lourneau.
Mount Lourneau wasn’t especially tall. It wasn’t one of those towering, sky-splitting peaks. What it lacked in height, however, it more than made up for in natural balance and dense spiritual energy. It was a true geomantic treasure—a sacred ground long revered by cultivators.
As hosts, Valerie and Rowan took Nyx, the exotic beauty, around to explore the area. The three women were striking in completely different ways, each radiating her own distinct charm.
The young disciples of Mount Lourneau stared openly, practically drooling, their eyes full of undisguised admiration.
Meanwhile, Jerome and Eric turned in early. They had been to Mount Lourneau before and didn’t find much worth touring again.
Andrew sat alone in his room, cross-legged in meditation. Wisps of white vapor rose steadily from the crown of his head. After building up to a certain density, the vapor gradually drew back into his body. Moments later, he ended his session and exhaled a long breath of stale air.
He had reached the realm of Beyond Mortal Limits.
The sensation was nothing like being a martial god—it was on an entirely different level. He had also fully refined the Elixir of Immortality, a feat made possible in no small part by Bridget’s help. The Rainveil Sect’s techniques were nothing short of extraordinary.
Andrew couldn’t precisely measure how strong he had become. Still, he had a clear sense that he wasn’t far from Reginald’s level. Before entering The Veiled Paradise, Reginald had already stepped into Beyond Mortal Limits. And now, at breakneck speed, Andrew had caught up to his father’s former height.
The last time he left Mount Lourneau, he had just shattered his energy core blockade and begun cultivating a brand-new martial path. Back then, he wasn’t particularly strong.
Now, as time passed and the tides shifted, he possessed power vast enough to shake the heavens.
Even Andrew sometimes felt like it was all unreal—like he might wake up from it at any moment.
As for the Cavendish royal family and the martial god he had captured, Andrew had initially intended to use the man as leverage in negotiations. But forcing the Eight Ancient Sects to fully mobilize against the Western forces was the real priority.
So he sent Finnegan to deliver the captured Cavendish martial god to the front lines and hand him over to Philip. Philip would know how to handle it.
Moonlight poured down from high above.
Valerie and the others were already asleep. Jerome and Eric were staying in another room together. Andrew remained alone, continuing his cultivation.
Under the silver glow of the moon, a shadowy figure climbed Mount Lourneau with fluid precision.
He scaled walls and slipped between buildings effortlessly, moving like a ghost. At last, he crept toward Andrew’s room. Pressing himself against the window, he listened carefully.
After a moment, he pulled out a thin copper tube, pierced the window paper, and blew a fine powder inside.
“Mindfog Powder… this stuff is worth its weight in gold,” he muttered.
Dressed entirely in black and not even bothering to cover his face, the skinny, sharp-eyed man was Eren Kirstein.
After releasing the powder, he let out a lewd chuckle. “Holtrien’s supreme leader? The Dragon Prince of the Lloyd family? Ha. I’ll have you flat on the floor, completely at my mercy.”
He waited, confident that enough time had passed for the drug to take effect. Then he pulled out a hemp rope and swaggered into the room, ready to bind his helpless target.
Instead, a fist slammed straight into his nose.
Crunch.
His nose bridge shattered instantly, and the impact knocked him unconscious on the spot.
In the split second before everything went dark, he saw Andrew’s indifferent expression.
How is he not unconscious?
Mindfog Powder can drop rhinos and elephants. Even martial gods can’t resist it… What the hell just happened?
A basin of cold water splashed across him.
Still dressed in black, Eren jolted awake to bright daylight. He realized it was already morning.
When his vision cleared and he understood the situation, he immediately shouted, “Don’t do anything reckless! I’m a disciple of Thunder Sect! If anything happens to me, none of you will get away with it!”
