Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3300
The fighting on the front lines could turn deadly at any moment. Andrew refused everyone’s request to accompany him. In the end, he took only Eric, Jerome, and Nyx when he left Chetvine.
Luna had already departed for Azure Gate with Bridget.
On the night before they separated, Andrew hosted a banquet at the Lloyd family’s grand estate. Valerie attended as well. Laughter and music carried on until after midnight. But once the celebration faded, a quiet heaviness settled over everyone.
Victoria forced a smile. “Andrew, when you go to Azure Gate, promise you’ll stay safe.”
Her martial path had been restored, so there was no need for her to return to Gabo Creek. From then on, she remained in Chetvine at Andrew’s estate, living with Lauren, Francesca, and the others until the war ended.
Rowan bit her lip before speaking up. “Andrew, I can go to the front lines with you. I can help.”
Andrew thought for a moment, then smiled. “Alright. If you want to come, come with me.”
Rowan had already reached the martial saint level and was not far from becoming a martial emperor. Her growth had been astonishing. Under normal circumstances, she wouldn’t have advanced so quickly. But after Andrew went overseas, heartbreak and a burning desire for revenge had driven her to train relentlessly. With Sheena and the Lloyd family backing her, her strength had soared.
That night, Andrew stayed up late talking with everyone.
Jameson eventually stood and said with a smile, “We never imagined that the Andy we met in Gabo Creek was the Lloyd family’s Dragon Prince—let alone that he would one day stand at the very top of Holtrien. Tiana, let’s turn in and give the young people some space.”
Tiana nodded with a grin. “Exactly. Victoria, let’s head back together.”
The elders withdrew first.
Andrew looked at the women who lingered, their reluctance obvious. He smiled gently. “It’s late. Let’s get some rest.”
Even though they had shared countless nights before, they still blushed every time. Surrounded by so many women, with Andrew the only man among them, they felt both shy and inexplicably exhilarated.
Francesca’s cheeks flushed as she murmured, “I’ll go prepare the bed.”
Andrew laughed softly. “No need. Just come here.”
It was another night filled with warmth and intensity.
This time, Andrew remembered Bridget’s guidance. The Divine Art of Heaven and Earth’s Five Elements began with dual cultivation—a practice beneficial not only for him but for the women as well.
Lauren’s family business was gradually expanding into Chetvine, so she had moved ahead of time and was staying at the Lloyd estate. It was convenient and secure. From now on, this would be her home.
Francesca, once a hospital doctor, had applied for a transfer and relocated to Chetvine as well.
Chantelle’s stay was temporary, since her work still required her presence in Gabo Creek. Fortunately, her supervisor was soon to be promoted to Chetvine, and she would follow.
Aspen, Natasha, and Rowan had already moved into the Chetvine villa earlier.
After their quiet intimacy, Andrew didn’t sleep right away. Instead, he held them close and asked carefully about each of their situations, listening to every detail before finally drifting off.
But the night had run long, and Andrew had barely any time left to rest.
