Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3297

Zavian said, “Either way, I admit defeat. If he’d wanted me dead back then—or if Nyx had—there were plenty of opportunities.”

Pablo waved a hand dismissively. “You’re all overthinking this. Andrew is a man worthy of respect, just like Reginald. Since the Hearst family has acknowledged him as the supreme ruler of Holtrien, we should act accordingly.

“There’s nothing humiliating about it. Holtrien has always been a land that produces heroes.” He paused before adding, “The Hearst family may have stood at the top for years, but no one can hold back the rise of a once-in-a-generation talent. This is timing. This is fate. And when the moment comes, no one can stop it.”

As the Hearst family moved toward the frontlines, Andrew returned to Chetvine with several members of the Lloyd family.

Donovan and Sheena, as heads of the Lloyd family, led the main force to the battlefield and did not return to the estate. The coming war would be the real test—a matter of life and death. Everything up to this point had been nothing more than minor skirmishes.

The moment Andrew arrived in Chetvine, he didn’t rest. He immediately summoned the heads of the four great families for a strategic meeting.

“Gentlemen, the frontline campaign has begun,” Andrew said calmly. “I’d like to hear your thoughts.”

Finnegan spoke first, his tone relaxed. “What’s there to discuss? The Reyes family has status in Holtrien. Now it’s time to step up.”

Andrew nodded and shifted his gaze to the others.

When Sergio met his eyes, he visibly stiffened. “The Harding family has no reason to stand aside,” he said quickly.

Andrew smiled faintly and nodded again.

Representing the Cunningham family was Conrad. Otto had already passed the position of family head to him.

“Our warriors have already mobilized,” Conrad said in a steady voice. “I’ll be heading out shortly myself.”

Aspen blinked in surprise. “That fast?”

Conrad gave a small smile. “The nation is in danger. I come from a military background. I know how quickly a battlefield can turn. We can’t afford to be careless.”

Aspen laughed. “Conrad, you’re a real man.”

Conrad felt slightly awkward. Whether he qualified as a “real man” was debatable in his mind. To him, the true pillar was sitting right in front of him—Andrew—whose presence alone made him feel small by comparison.

He couldn’t help but glance at Andrew, but Andrew didn’t treat him any differently than the others.

From the Robertson family, Emir and Zion arrived together.

“We’ll lead our people to the frontlines,” Emir said.

    “Me too!” Isabelle quickly added.

Emir frowned. “Don’t be ridiculous. You’re staying in Chetvine.”

Isabelle crossed her arms, clearly annoyed. “Why? You’re all going, so why can’t I? Because I’m a woman? Who exactly are you looking down on? I can fight too. Otherwise, what was all my training for?”

Usually quick with a retort, Emir found himself at a loss for words.

“Let her come,” Zion said calmly. “Father agrees. The daughters of the Robertson family aren’t raised to be sheltered.”

Andrew smiled. “Belle, well said. You can go to the frontlines—but you’re not allowed to act recklessly.”

Isabelle grinned. “Don’t worry. I plan to come back victorious… and then have you marry me, Andrew.”

Andrew nearly choked and decisively pretended he hadn’t heard a word.

Emir, however, chuckled and gave his sister a thumbs-up. If Isabelle could move into Andrew’s villa too, then as her brother, he’d finally be able to walk around with his head held high. The thought alone was satisfying.

Zion, ever the upright martial artist, felt tempted by the idea as well—but his sense of propriety made him uncomfortable. He shot Isabelle a sharp look, silently telling her to stop embarrassing herself.

Once the meeting ended, Andrew wasted no time. He instructed the four family heads to finalize their arrangements. They would regroup at the frontlines soon.

Andrew himself would be leaving Chetvine shortly—but not for the battlefield. He had other urgent matters to handle.

That very evening, he ordered Tiana, Jameson, and Victoria to be brought to Chetvine without delay.
