Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3293
Andrew’s voice dropped, steady and controlled.
“I never intended to block the Hearst family’s army. Right now, the western nations and the Dark Clans are advancing straight toward Azure Gate. The Hearst forces shouldn’t be wasted fighting our own people. They should be marching to Azure Gate—where they’re actually needed.”
Zavian’s eyes flared with anger.
“The Hearst family doesn’t need you telling us what to do,” he snapped. “Who do you think you are? The ruler of Holtrien? Ordering everyone around?
“Andrew, the Lloyd family thinks far too highly of itself.”
The gray-haired Martial God added coldly, “Zavian, why waste time talking? Let’s fight again—even if it costs us our lives.”
Andrew’s gaze turned icy. “If you dare make another move, I guarantee the next head to fall will be yours.”
A cold laugh echoed across the field.
Jeffery stepped forward, flanked by senior members of the Hearst royal family.
“They say heroes rise young,” he said evenly. “Today I finally meet the Lloyd family’s Dragon Prince. Your reputation… is not exaggerated.”
His eyes hardened.
“But you speak as if the Hearst royal family is nothing. Do you really think we wouldn’t drag everyone down with us?”
Andrew frowned slightly.
“Elder Jeffery, there’s no need to take things that far. It’s not that I fear the Hearst family. The people of the Hearstlands value loyalty and righteousness—that’s something I respect. I don’t want unnecessary bloodshed among our own.
“Besides, there’s something you should know.”
Jeffery snorted. “There’s nothing to say. You killed Pablo. The Hearst family won’t let this go.”
Andrew replied calmly, “Whether you can let it go—that’s your choice. But what I need to tell you is this.”
His voice sharpened.
“Holtrien’s National Advisor, Guillermo Vazquez, was killed by me last night.”
Silence crashed down over the Hearst ranks.
Jeffery’s tall frame trembled. “You… killed Guillermo?”
Sheena sneered. “If you don’t believe it, Elder Jeffery, go to Chetvine and see for yourself. Guillermo’s corpse is still there. Cormac of the Cavendish family came to rescue someone and left empty-handed.
“And one of the Cavendish family’s Martial Gods is currently detained by us.”
Her tone turned cold.
“Andrew doesn’t want our people slaughtering each other. But if the Hearst family thinks we’re afraid, then we can settle this right now.”
Zavian opened his mouth, ready to retort—but stopped.
He had just felt Sheena’s strength firsthand. He wasn’t confident he could defeat her.
And Andrew stood there with two Martial Gods at his side. Including Andrew himself, that made three. Add the Lloyd family’s two veteran Martial Gods who had yet to act—
Five in total.
The Hearst family had already lost Pablo.
The gap in power was obvious.
After a long, heavy pause, Jeffery sighed.
“Guillermo was a figure of his generation,” he said grimly. “And you took his life just like that. Don’t you think you went too far?”
Andrew’s answer was cold.
“When Guillermo held the advantage, I thought the same about the things he did. But he never showed restraint.
“I killed him for one reason—he deserved to die.
“If you wish to seek justice for him, be my guest.”
Jeffery growled, “Andrew, you’re pushing this too far. Do you truly believe you can stand against the entire Hearst army?”
Andrew’s gaze swept across the massive forces gathered in the distance before returning to Jeffery.
“The Hearst army is formidable,” he admitted. “With the current balance of power, the Lloyd family alone couldn’t stop it.”
Jeffery’s lips curled in a cold sneer, waiting.
Andrew continued calmly.
“But as long as I’m here, your army has no chance of winning.”
His voice dropped like a hammer.
“A Beyond Mortal Limits powerhouse…”
A ripple of shock passed through the Hearst elders.
“As long as I stand before Chetvine,” Andrew finished, “no matter how many troops you send, it won’t matter. Will it?”
Faces changed instantly.
Zavian pointed at him, fury blazing. “What did you say?”
Andrew smirked.
Then, slowly, he rose from the ground—hovering more than thirty feet in the air.
“I said I alone can stop your entire Hearst army.
“If you don’t believe me, charge.”
The moment his words fell, an overwhelming aura crashed down upon the battlefield.
The pressure was suffocating.
Zavian and the other Martial Gods felt their scalps prickle. Those closest to the peak of martial power felt it most intensely.
The force radiating from Andrew was absolute.
Like a divine mountain crushing the earth.
Like the gates of hell descending upon them.
