Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3283

The moment Wesley pointed it out, Guillermo felt it too.

    Something was wrong.

His face twisted with rage. “That bastard Sergio! I’ll skin him alive—”

He didn’t even finish the sentence.

    Cormac had already moved.

Two palm strikes exploded outward in rapid succession. The force spun like twin cyclones, slamming into the chests of two Harding family experts. The two Martial Saints didn’t even have time to groan. Blood sprayed from their mouths as they were blasted backward.

The remaining Martial Emperor and Martial Saint roared and charged.

They ignored Cormac and Wesley completely.

    Their target was Guillermo.

As long as Guillermo was captured, nothing else mattered.

Cormac let out a cold snort. “You’re courting death.”

    He struck again.

At the peak of the Martial God realm, his power was overwhelming. The air itself seemed to collapse under the pressure of his palms.

    “Run!” Cormac barked.

Guillermo and Wesley clutched their heads and bolted toward the small gate, scrambling like men with death at their heels.

    Then—

Two shadowy figures dropped from the city wall.

    Sheena and Nyx.

Sheena charged straight at Cormac, her attacks exploding forward in a relentless barrage.

    Nyx, however, did not strike.

She flickered through the air like a phantom, repositioning again and again. Her assassin’s lock never left the back of Cormac’s head.

    One mistake.

    That was all she needed.

Cormac felt it. The cold, silent pressure trailing him. Every move he made carried the risk of a fatal opening.

    Ahead, more shadows shifted.

Luna and Sergio chose that exact moment to strike.

They had waited until Guillermo and Wesley created distance from Cormac before making their move.

    Luna’s eyes turned glacial.

Her leg swept toward Guillermo’s chest like a steel whip.

Guillermo’s expression contorted. He raised both arms to block—but the impact still sent him staggering backward. He coughed up a mouthful of blood, his already crippled foundation barely holding together.

    Luna’s heart leapt.

Andrew’s damage had done its job. Guillermo was hanging by a thread.

“You’re really trying to wipe us out completely?!” Guillermo shrieked, fury and humiliation burning in his voice.

The betrayal cut deeper than the attack.

Sergio’s eyes gleamed viciously as he circled Wesley.

Wesley’s strength was mediocre—barely Martial King level. He had survived within the Cavendish royal family through intellect and schemes, not fists.

Now, forced into a real fight, he panicked.

    “Cormac! Save me!”

    Cormac’s expression darkened.

Under normal circumstances, Sheena and Nyx were no threat to him. As the second-strongest figure in the Cavendish royal family and a peak Martial God, his strength was unquestionable.

    But Wesley’s importance was undeniable.

With a thunderous roar, Cormac stepped forward.

A terrifying wave of energy erupted from his body, expanding outward like a detonating storm. His hands blurred, leaving countless afterimages in the air.

Sheena and Nyx both cried out as crushing pressure slammed into their chests. Their breathing hitched. The sheer force drove them backward.

    Without pausing, Cormac leaped upward.

His palm descended toward Sergio like a falling mountain.

Sergio’s face changed. He didn’t dare take it head-on and dove aside just in time.

In the same fluid motion, Cormac seized Wesley, flipped him upside down midair, and spun him like a living shield.

    Luna lunged for Guillermo—

A sharp slicing sound cut through the night.

    Her hand split open.

    Blood gushed out instantly.

She staggered back, face draining of color as pain tore through her.

Cormac sneered. “General Phelan, forgive me.”

With his free hand, he grabbed the sweat-soaked, barely conscious Guillermo.

    Then—

He shot straight into the sky.

He no longer concealed his presence.

He was forcing his way out of Chetvine.

The moment Cormac took flight, Sheena’s eyes hardened with ruthless resolve.

She stomped the ground so hard the stone cracked beneath her feet and launched upward.

Midair, both palms pressed down as she unleashed everything she had.

She didn’t care whether she struck Cormac or Guillermo.

If she could kill even one of them—

    That would be enough.

Cormac threw his head back and laughed, long and unrestrained.

    Arrogant.

    Calm.

    Dominant.
