Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3267
Guillermo roared as the black battle armor around him erupted. Thick waves of black mist poured from every overlapping plate, swirling together in front of him and condensing into a solid wall of darkness.
With a furious shout, he slammed his shoulder forward, using the wall as a shield to take Andrew’s attack head-on.
The impact was instant—and devastating.
The black energy wall shattered on contact. Red lightning tore straight through the collapsing mist and struck Guillermo’s armor, crackling violently as sparks exploded in every direction.
When the sharp bursts of electricity began to fade, thin strands of crimson lightning slipped into the armor itself.
Guillermo threw his head back and screamed.
The sound was raw, agonized, and unrestrained. It echoed across the garden until the last threads of lightning finally dissipated.
Then, silence.
His right leg buckled.
He dropped to one knee, gasping for breath.
When he looked up at Andrew, his eyes were filled with shock—and venomous hatred.
At that moment, Jose staggered up from the shattered flower bed. Ignoring his own battered body, he rushed to Guillermo’s side.
“Mr. Vazquez—are you alright?”
Guillermo’s voice came out hoarse and furious. “Kill him! Attack together! He’s almost done. He won’t hold if we strike at the same time!”
Jose turned toward Andrew.
After that last slash, Andrew’s hand gripping the sword was trembling slightly. It was clear the strike had cost him dearly.
“Understood, Mr. Vazquez,” Jose said, nodding firmly.
He burst forward in a sudden charge, lifting his leg and smashing it toward Andrew’s shoulder.
Andrew raised his greatsword and retreated two steps. Then he swung again.
Only now did Jose truly understand how terrifying that massive blade was.
His heart pounded as he dodged frantically to the side.
Guillermo seized the opening and shot forward, launching a midair punch aimed straight at Andrew’s core.
Andrew grinned.
He didn’t dodge.
Instead, he ignored the incoming punch entirely and brought his greatsword crashing down toward Guillermo’s head.
“Get back!” Guillermo roared.
Mid-strike, he shifted his punch into a two-handed shove, slamming both palms against Andrew’s chest before instantly retreating.
Andrew’s blade sliced past the edge of Guillermo’s helmet and carved a deep trench into the ground behind him.
Guillermo’s teeth clenched.
That had been a pure mutual-destruction move.
If his punch had landed cleanly, Andrew would have been severely injured—maybe worse.
But if that sword had hit his skull?
Even a martial god would have died on the spot.
Andrew exhaled harsh, scorching breaths. The back-to-back battles had drained him more than he’d anticipated.
Most of it came from the massive energy he’d burned breaking Pablo’s Diamond Body Art.
Guillermo’s ambush had been timed almost perfectly.
Guillermo sneered. “You can’t last much longer, Andrew. When you fall, I’ll still be standing.”
Andrew’s voice remained low. Steady.
“Then let’s try again.”
Primordial Thunder began coiling around the Godslayer once more.
Crimson lightning reflected in Andrew’s eyes, staining them blood-red.
Guillermo’s eyelids twitched.
This was the pure ancestral power of the Highland Clan—Arcturus the Unbroken’s legacy.
In sheer purity, it rivaled the holy radiance of the Lomuia Grand Cathedral.
With a thunderous crash, Andrew brought the greatsword down again.
A massive bolt of red lightning twisted through the air like a venomous serpent—arching, bending—
Then plunging straight toward Guillermo.
