Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3266

Andrew’s grip on his sword was firm, his hand rock steady. Aside from a faint pallor in his face, there was no sign of weakness. His powerful healing ability had already pulled him back from the brink.

But Guillermo was no ordinary opponent.

His strength wasn’t much weaker than Pablo’s. With the battle armor amplifying him, he was even more formidable. And Jose stood at his side.

Facing two martial gods at once was genuinely dangerous.

Even so, Andrew’s expression barely shifted.

    He had survived far worse.

If he hadn’t just fought Pablo—if he were still at his peak—Guillermo and Jose together wouldn’t have been enough. Even if Julius joined them, Andrew would still crush all three.

Luna and Rowan rushed out into the garden, anxiety written all over their faces.

Luna clenched her teeth. “Rowan, I’ll stay and help Andrew. You go to the Reyes family right now—find Valerie. Have her bring their top experts immediately.”

Guillermo burst into wild laughter. “Too late for that. And if you stay? You’re just throwing your life away.”

Before the words even settled, he lunged.

Black energy coiled around his fists as he drove a punch straight at Andrew’s face.

Jose hesitated for a split second—then followed with a sweeping kick aimed at Andrew’s lower body.

Luna tensed, ready to intercept Jose.

Andrew’s voice cut through the air, cold and commanding. “Luna. All of you—stand back.”

    She cried out, “But—”

“Stand back!” Andrew barked. “I told you. I’m taking this old bastard down myself.”

The Godslayer rose high overhead and came crashing down, colliding violently with Guillermo’s fist. Black energy and blood-red light detonated outward.

At the same time, Andrew’s upper body arched backward to an impossible angle. In one fluid motion, he flipped midair and kicked out.

Jose’s sweeping kick was neutralized instantly.

But Andrew’s counterstrike caught him completely off guard.

Jose barely had time to throw up his arms to block.

    Bang.

The impact sent him flying straight into a flower bed, blasting a massive crater into the ground.

Guillermo’s eye twitched. He silently cursed Jose’s incompetence.

In his mind, a true partner needed to be at least a high-level martial god like Trevor. Jose had only recently reached this realm—and that was after Guillermo forcibly pushed him forward. His foundation was shaky. His strength lacking.

If Julius had come instead, Guillermo would’ve had absolute confidence in killing Andrew in his injured state.

    But there were no what-ifs.

Julius had dismissed Guillermo’s proposal with open contempt.

Andrew’s greatsword spun, weaving a dense net of afterimages. Guillermo hovered above, raining down a relentless storm of punches.

Towering black energy collided with the dark crimson aura radiating from Andrew.

From the sidelines, Luna’s palms were slick with cold sweat.

Only now did she understand—at this level of combat, stepping in would only become a burden to Andrew.

For now, at least, he wasn’t losing.

Guillermo lived up to his title as Holtrien’s national advisor. His mind was razor-sharp—he had stirred chaos across Holtrien for years without falling. And his martial strength stood at the absolute peak.

Being ranked first on the Titan List wasn’t just a title.

With a savage roar, Guillermo slammed both fists downward.

Before his strikes, the phantom image of a ferocious beast manifested, baring its fangs as it tore into the Godslayer’s sword energy.

Andrew grunted and staggered back three steps before forcing himself steady.

His barely stabilized injuries flared violently.

Fresh blood spilled from the corner of his mouth.

Guillermo laughed like a madman. “Andrew, you’re finished! Taking this risk was worth it after all!”

Andrew slowly wiped the blood from his lips.

A strange smile curved across his face.

    “Is that so?”

A crackling sound split the air.

Dark red lightning began to coil along the blade of his greatsword.

The instant that lightning appeared, Guillermo’s heart skipped in alarm.

It was the ancestral power of the Highland Tribe—the legacy of Arcturus the Unbroken.

    Primordial Thunder.

Andrew lifted his sword and pointed it directly at Guillermo.

The red lightning shot upward, piercing the night sky.

Half of Chetvine’s sky turned an unnatural red—deep, heavy, almost like fresh blood.

A massive bolt of lightning crashed down from the heavens and struck the Godslayer.

    Andrew slashed forward.

Crimson light surged like a raging river of blood, roaring straight toward Guillermo.

    Guillermo’s breath caught.

    For the first time—

    True terror filled his eyes.
