Rising from the Ashes (Andrew and Lauren) Chapter 3265
Guillermo’s sudden appearance—the legendary powerhouse of Holtrien—left Lauren, Francesca, Rowan, and the other women in the villa stunned.
But not one of them stepped back.
They moved as one, forming a protective wall in front of Andrew.
Luna’s voice turned icy. “Mr. Vazquez, what exactly do you think you’re doing? You should know your time is up. Instead of being here, you should be figuring out how to escape Chetvine.”
Guillermo wore a bizarre set of black battle armor. It clanked heavily with every step he took. He sneered, his eyes locked entirely on Andrew.
“Escape Chetvine? Yes, I was planning to. But heaven gave me another chance—an opportunity to turn the tables.”
He pointed at Andrew and let out a cold snort. “You were seriously injured fighting Pablo, weren’t you? And now the Hearst royal family is marching on Chetvine. The Lloyd family has no choice but to face them head-on. Not to mention the Cavendish royal family—they’ve been making moves but haven’t struck yet.”
Luna’s expression didn’t change. “Even if everything you’re saying is true, Mr. Vazquez, so what? Andrew still has us.”
Guillermo scoffed. “General Phelan, do you really think having you all here puts pressure on me?”
His tone sharpened.
“Lorenzo, that traitor, went running to the Lloyd family to sell me out. I used that to my advantage. Just as I expected, Nyx and Sheena have already moved to seal off Chetvine’s exits to intercept me.”
He chuckled darkly. “You never imagined I’d walk straight into danger—only to strike with a surprise attack, did you?”
Luna growled, “Even if you gain the upper hand now, what then? Once Sheena and the others realize what’s happening, they’ll come rushing back.”
Guillermo’s aura exploded outward without warning. He struck at Luna, his voice glacial.
“Let them come! By then, you’ll all be corpses at my feet!”
His eyes burned with killing intent. “Andrew, you’re even more troublesome than Reginald was. I’m ending you today.”
Andrew tightened his grip on the greatsword, cold light flashing in his eyes.
Luna and Rowan—strongest among the women—moved first, charging forward to intercept Guillermo.
At the same time, Jose’s figure blurred as he rushed out.
“Mr. Vazquez, leave them to me!”
“Good!” Guillermo roared.
He bypassed Luna and drove straight toward Andrew.
Andrew sneered and slammed his foot into the ground. His body slid backward in a smooth retreat.
“Running?” Guillermo shot into the air with explosive force. From above, he brought his palm down like a falling mountain.
The ground cratered beneath the impact.
But the instant his strike landed, Andrew had already rolled away multiple times. With his greatsword in hand, Andrew burst out of the villa.
Guillermo gave chase, assuming he was trying to escape.
The moment Andrew cleared the doorway, he spun and unleashed a backhand slash.
A surge of blood-red sword energy crashed down.
Guillermo gritted his teeth and crossed his armored arms to block.
A heavy thud echoed.
His arms trembled violently as he landed and staggered back several steps. When he glanced down, several white streaks marred the surface of his armor.
That armor was one of his most prized treasures. Wearing it pushed his strength to a higher level—enough to contend with powerhouses beyond mortal limits.
Yet with a single strike, Andrew had scarred it.
The damage stung—but what shook him more was the realization that Andrew was still this terrifying while injured.
He couldn’t afford to fight Andrew alone.
If something went wrong—if there was even the slightest accident—the consequences would be catastrophic. After years at the top, Guillermo had grown obsessively protective of his own life. He would never risk himself unnecessarily. Not even a scratch.
“Jose!” he shouted. “Help me!”
Without hesitation, Jose disengaged from Luna and Rowan and rushed over.
In an instant, Andrew was flanked—Guillermo in front, Jose behind.
The three men faced off in the Lloyd family garden, tension thick enough to suffocate.
